UGA Wins:
Coastal Carolina is 3-1
An FCS team who's wins are over FCS teams North Carolina A&T 2-2 and Furman 3-1, and Division 2-Catawba 2-3.
Mississippi is 2-3.
One win came against a FCS team that is 2-2 overall
The second win came against Fresno State whose only wins this year were against Idaho 1-4 and FCS team North Dakota.
Coincidentally Idaho's only win was over the same FCS team, North Dakota.
We scored no 2nd half touchdowns against them.
Mississippi State is 2-3
They beat Memphis whose only win was against FCS Austin Peay
and Louisiana Tech in overtime. Tech's only win was against FCS Central Arkansas.
We scored no 2nd half touchdowns against them.
I am beginning to think SC may not be as good as they were supposed to be.
So I ask, has there really been any improvement or does it just appear that way since they beat sub-par teams.
Other than the first half against State, I haven't seen it. Same dumb plays, same dumb penalities, same dumb off-field issues
It really depends on what side of the ball you are looking at. On defense yes they have improved ALOT. On offense itt seems M just keeps making poor reads and poor choices. Issac is showing that he will be a superstar at UGA, or atleast I think he will. COming off of the Mississippi State game I believe they mae adjustments to stop the run, either that or the conditioning on the O side is horrible.

say yes we have seen something get better. I understand the wins have come against weaker
opponents, but we lost to a pretty pedestrian Colorado
team last year so having 2 conference wins at this
point is some level of improvement.
Yes there have been some areas of improvement, but
there are some pretty significant areas that look about
the same. We all know what those areas are, and how
it will affect future opponents is to be determined... starting on Saturday.

1. D is MUCH better....geez, #7 in the country
2. Intensity is much better.....maybe "shut down" 2nd halfs but they have come out with intensity every game
3. Attitudes are a huge improvement over last year
4. Players giving 100% efforts that we didn't see last year
5. won't even go to the record being better because 3-2 doesn't excite me
6. Running game is much better and if we could get the OL from below average to just above average we'll average 200+ ypg rushing, easy.
7. Players believe.....that's a new one the last 3 years.
ok, we certainly aren't "there" yet but if we can continue these improvements each game, maybe, just maybe, we'll peak at the right moment inspite of Bobo Gotta Go Go
Let's see how it plays out....could be pretty interesting.:woohoo: :woohoo:
