Coastal Carolina is 3-1
An FCS team who's wins are over FCS teams North Carolina A&T 2-2 and Furman 3-1, and Division 2-Catawba 2-3.



Mississippi is 2-3.

One win came against a FCS team that is 2-2 overall

The second win came against Fresno State whose only wins this year were against Idaho 1-4 and FCS team North Dakota.
Coincidentally Idaho's only win was over the same FCS team, North Dakota.

We scored no 2nd half touchdowns against them.

Mississippi State is 2-3

They beat Memphis whose only win was against FCS Austin Peay
and Louisiana Tech in overtime. Tech's only win was against FCS Central Arkansas.
We scored no 2nd half touchdowns against them.

I am beginning to think SC may not be as good as they were supposed to be.

So I ask, has there really been any improvement or does it just appear that way since they beat sub-par teams.

Other than the first half against State, I haven't seen it. Same dumb plays, same dumb penalities, same dumb off-field issues

through 5 games last year we were 1-4...this year we're 3-2. Improvement

Those 3 wins have come against inferior teams.

If your only measure of improvement is the won/loss record, I think you will be severely disappointed come the end of November. This team and its chicken $hit coaching staff loses to TN,FL,Auburn,Tech and possibly Vandy. Not wanting it to happen, but willing to bet money it does. Any takers?

I do like that angle bulldawg36869 and I think it puts it all into reality at this point in the season.

However, I really think all of the problems are on the O side of the ball and on special teams.

We all know the reason why the O side is suffering. My question is why special teams are lagging?

Bobo, CMR, repectively. Too conservative.

Heard Travis Rodgers today talking about Texes A&M on how they mangage to lose in the 2nd half playing not to lose. That's the problem boys and girls. CMR is playing not to lose. Several of you here have driven that point clear.

Bama and LSU are killing people every Saturday and driving the last nail in the coffin on the last play of the game. Thank God we don't play them this year. And notice I said we do not play them this year. And you all know what that means. Bet the house on it.

All I can say is you must have had a really bad day. I think it was an improvement and never will bet against the Bulldogs no matter how bad it gets. GO DAWGS PROVE HIM WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you can honestly say that after watcing the 2nd half on Saturday? If you call that improvement, we must have really sucked up until that point.

Maybe I'm wrong for being too harsh. I guess I expect more from the talent we have. You tell me...
