3/4 Defense Lesson

RabunDog, I really like the way the coaches are talking directly to us, not around us, avoiding the issues. Coach Grantham is real, don't expect him to change one iota. This could and should be a blessing to the offensive side of the ball once the D is hitting on all cylinders. Not 8 as before Coach Grantham, all 11 cyliners in his regime. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I agree Buc

I think all 11 pistons will be hitting - If one piston is not hitting - the D coaches will be replacing it with one that is hitting - think they will be a little patient but not much - you better bring your \"A\" game most of the time or you'll end up on the \"B\" team

The article below really struck a note with me. Parenting and schooling has been discussed here along with miscues by young folks.

A lot of discussion is about our defense at this point, and it should be. The UGA defense has not been up to expectations in the last few years. Some good, some bad, some so-so.

Coach Belin. This article about a man with convictions, learned from wonderful parents and a tremendous focus on his part. The University of Georgia not only got a terrific football coach, we got a man with (as stated above) convictions. Take the time to read, really good article.

Must have really hurt Coach Belin with Montez running astray again. Have to know that Coach Belin's heart has to be heavy.

wlayton, definitely took me back to my days as a youngster, walking the creek banks in Georgia. Hard to beat the memories of the cane pole, cork and catching those bream on beds. Fries, hush puppies and cole slaw.

Coach Belin was without a doubt the \"catch\" that our linebacking corps needed. Just know that he is going to be a huge piece of the puzzle needed to fulfill Coach Grantham's words of signing all the talent needed in a 5 hour radius of Athens. Getting exciting wlayton. . . . :woohoo: :woohoo:

Tell you what Buc, I'm getting as excited having Belin and Lakatos on staff as much as Grantham. Those two guys may end up being the \"most valuable players\" of our D, when all is said and done. :woohoo: :woohoo:
