I believe our D will be exciting to watch. Not always \"happy\" exciting but exciting none the less. The D will be very aggressive and will give up some big plays like everyone has mentioned BUT.....I also believe the D is going to make a huge leap in actually MAKING big plays this year as well. Yes, we'll blow a few assignments while growing in the system.....yes, we'll give up some exasperating TD's on a few big plays by our opponents but we are all going to see more interceptions, more sacks, more fumble recoveries and more chaos created by this 3-4 that we haven't seen in years. The D will be MUCH improved this year and dominant in the coming years......just get ready and have fun!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

The link below backs up what wlayton posted here. Really encouraging to hear the players talk about Coach Lakatos and his teaching methods. The defensive coaches, all of them, seem to have the players attention.

Articles out there about Coach Richt with more hands on this year. Three receivers sets, good (great) group at tight end, I'm pumped. :woohoo: :woohoo: Coaching like this has been missing for some time, win loss record clearly proves that.

Hey Buc, great article. The biggest thing that stands out to me is \"getting in the WR's face\" AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. Last year when watching a game on TV, you couldn't even see our CB on the screen.......and that's on a 52\" screen for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta love it.......EXCITING. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: (4 for ya)

Another encouraging aspect . . . the players showing how much they are \"into\" the coaching and the system wlayton . . . . Atlanta, Macon, points near and far . . . takes me back to what Coach Grantham said right off of the bat. . . . 5 hours in any direction . . . we contend.

Players know that they have a \"better\" chance of going to the \"League\" as a result of the coaches at UGA. Some of the near misses we have had recently, become recruiting hits in the future.

Without a doubt, have said it a time or two on this board, our offense is going to become much better before the season starts . . . this is going to be a better defense than they will play against in several games on the schedule. Figure there will be some \"scraps\" between O and D. These players are jacked, no doubt . . . :woohoo:

Below is an article that I borrowed from David Hale. Video of Coach Grantham is worth the look. Happy Easter all. God Bless. :)
