The recruiting finish line

It can be very difficult at times. That’s why our policy has been to be very straightforward from the beginning, Don’t say something that won’t come true in the end. Trust is really the only thing we have to hold us together, I think.”

Once again, this is class and goes to wlayton's previous post. Let's get guys that want to play for GA and not worry about pseudorankings. The only ranking that counts is in the W-L column.

I do like the three stars who work hard. BUT, look at the championship teams every year. They all have a star at each level on defense: DL, LB, and DB. A 4/5 star caliber playmakers.

We do need to rack up next year. Back to back \"3 star\" classes will cost Richt his job.

I'm not sure this is necessarily a 3 star class. Sure, not our best in terms of ratings, but it fills our needs.

Hey Yall, I know this class is not what all we wanted, but winning will fix this problem! when CTG gets to work this yr and we start wining then they will come. It is there loss as I have said before, if a young man changes his mind not to come and play for CMR then we dont need um anyway, just cant figure out why some parents let there kids make these kind of mistakes. Anyway Good coaching is what matters the most! We will be alot better this season. GO DAWGSSSS!!

I am really not that disappointed with this class, because I did not expect a great class. As far as Rogers goes, I watched him play a couple of times this year and he is truly blessed. However, the last time I saw him play I sat beside an elderly gentleman who has watched Rogers grow up. He said that Rogers could be great, but has serious problems. He said that Rogers threatened to whip a teachers a** while in class. Losing Rogers does not bother me that much. We are loaded with young talent on O. Our D is unproven. We have taken many beat downs over the last few years. We were due an average recruiting class. On the upside, I think we will be very pleased at the end of next season. CMR is an awesome man and a very good coach. I feel like he got a little comfortable and took his success for granted. CMR heard the rumbling in Athens last year and he stepped up to the plate. I would much rather see our coaches bring back the passion of Georgia football, rather than signing another underachieving top 10 recruiting class. When the passion of a true JUNKYARD defense returns our in state talent will stay at home. I am truly excited about next year. I am ready for some spring football.

Good post big dawg 3. Feel much the same as you. Looking forward to the Red and Black hitting the gridiron and watching the talent work. It will be interesting to watch the changes made after the last regime and the start of the new.

give the new coaches a chance guys!!! no rank for desire, luck, disipline, and heart!!! look at 1980 class before all of this hype. junkyard dawgs were a creation of erk!!! no stars created by class rank just one hell of a rb and defense of nobodies!!!! it is no fun havin our pride sucked away by media but that is the age we live in. look at the little schools who vaulted up recently!!! it just takes the right chemistry and desire!!!! we gonna be fine. one class dont make or break u regardless of stats it is proven!!!!
