Don't buy it. Everything we know about this young man is his thoroughness. He will not have a 2 year relationship with Richt/UGA and throw that away with a 3 days visit to UF.

I can see him going to Miami for obvious reasons but he will not start year 1 in Miami. They have a good QB.

If the UGA OC fits his scheme, he will cometo UGA. UF has no chance. Either UGA, Miami, or back out west to be near home.

I feel good about getting him.

No swat either way. How many times in footbal does a bad QB get a new OC/HC. etc and the light goes off? If we have an Alabama type line next year, tons of RB's and a defense that gets off the field, Lambert will be OK.

Yep.

I'm with you Bulldog...I still think Eason lands in Athens.

Brad Kaaya is going to be the starter in Miami. Period. The #1 rated ACC passer and two consecutive 3,000 yard seasons puts him square in control of the Miami train. Eason isn't going to go sit the bench & red shirt when he can walk right into UGA and be the man.

In his final words to his former player, Mark Richt said this:

"Life Is about people, not rings. Rings collect dust,”

Richt is 100% right. LIFE is about people, not dust
collecting rings.

However, FOOTBALL on the other hand is about winning games, and winning championships.

Yeah, when your paid 4 million a year to win games, that should take 1st on the priority board.

You know in some weird way, I respect Richt for what he said. But I also think if that's his mentality he should go be a guidance counselor.

Miami will be expecting some rings in a few years too Coach.

I respect Richt for what he said. It's true.

and football isn't life, it's football... and coaching it was his job here.

That's all. I don't want to start up on him again and that is a great life message, but it
also seems to have been a parting shot at his detractors. Not even necessarily said with that intent on his part... but still coming across that way when it comes out so quickly and reported to the public.

As an outgoing private message to his kids.... great. It's a wonderful lesson.. after you haven't won any rings. I wonder however if those will be the same words he first utters to his new team and the Miami boosters.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

The "market" has spoken. Even with his lack of championships there were several schools interested. I thought he should have gone to South Carolina. That would have made for some interesting games.
