I think Eason is going to be just fine but (and this is my opinion and I'm not a college recruiter) because of the talent level he faces week in and week out I believe there will be a BIG learning curve for him. Sitting here today on Oct 21st 2015 all signs are pointing to Eason more than likely being our starter next year. There is nothing wrong with starting a freshman QB in today's time and standards but I would think that you would want to redshirt your QB if you could and allow him to settle into the playbook and the speed of college football. And not have to have him come in wet behind the ears and throw him to the wolves. I only say this about Eason because of the competition that he plays against and it's nothing against him personally because he looks to be exactly what you want if you're looking for a pro style QB.
Do agree with you.
2 things.....fortunately he will be there in Jan and will at least progress through the speed he will see at spring practice. I realize that game time speed is a little faster but UGA doesn't lack for speed so he will see a bunch next spring....gotta help in the transition some.
Also.....no matter what growing pains we may see, he will still be heads and shoulders above anybody else playing currently.
