And the SEC. Much like CJP the best fit was Georgia and the East both IMO looked at

The Dawgs being just a step away from something special

Don't see them working with any other SEC head coach other the CMR for a whole host of reasons

Go Dawgs

Turned in last night after reading your post.

Maybe the reason that Jeremy Pruitt moved so quickly to the UGA position was because after talking with Mark Richt he was told that he could pretty much do as he pleased.

Reason for typing the above. When Richt hired grantham, said more than one time in his pressers that grantham was in control of the defense. Anyone watching the games grantham participated in, no doubt he was doing as he pleased.

McGarity was not pleased with grantham, all we have to do is watch the videos that I posted earlier. grantham gives glowing remarks for an Athletic Director he has never worked for. grantham could not get his way any longer, script had been written. Will always believe that McGarity told Richt what had to be done.

Jeremy Pruitt then selects his coaches, and my guess is that he said the same thing to Tracy Rocker that Mark Richt said to Pruitt.

What I have heard so far coming from the defensive coaches and players is the word "discipline". Discipline meaning being able to prove ones self against "all" competitors. To this point in time, that is the "theme" I get from coach speak.

No doubt in my mind that the players had taken over the defensive side of the ball under grantham and any positive coaching (if there was any) was tossed out of the window. Players out of shape, lack of understanding the system, both of those things come from a lack of coaching presence.

Then I compare the two defensive coaches, Pruitt and grantham. Pruitt leaves Alabama, FSU and when he arrives in Athens he knows who he will have helping him coach. grantham left Georgia and did not ask or take a single coach with him to Louisville. Tells me that not only did the players not accept his way of coaching, neither did the coaches.

Make no mistake thinking that Pruitt did not have a relationship with Rocker. He/they did.

Bet this . . . . defensive players wants to get on the field, circumstances will be much different that they were a year ago. Ramik Wilson has already said that.

Have mentioned several times that I read much of what The Lady Sportswriter has to say about UGA football. Seems she sees eye to eye with those of us on this board in a "certain area".

Buc.

Just finished reading the Lady before

Coming over to our board agree with her and add the entire defense is ready to make

Some noise as a group. They will. Your point about Towel not taking any of assistants

With him confirms that there was zero mutual respect

Remember CMR making a comment how well CJP and his assistants got along. That they enjoyed

Working together. Can't recall Toddy every having anything to say about those who worked

With him. He always spoke about himself and fueled his ego as you correctly said pos

Yes I was sucked into his NFL wonder speak. If it wasn't for Jarvis and others his

Rue would have been up sooner. Go Dawgs

We will have several good OL recruits in 2015. Still feel we flip a name OL

See CTR lending a hand getting OL. To come to the Dawgs.

yd1 and Buc....pray you two are right about the OL. I still have my doubts....still feel we will be an average OL at best.

Hey, may be all we will need.... :woohoo: :woohoo:

wlayton..Doubts are a good thing. So if TG is posse are above average a good OL who gets better each game will work

Just feel that we will see a football team that will show improvement from game to game

Practice will have new meaning with group off coaches, was never a problem with the "O"

ST and the "D" went backwards won't be SOP in 2014 Go Dawgs
