Sorry, difference between what Auburn has done with their talent and what we will do with our talent.

Things that I "apply" and "think about" when looking at our recruiting and what we do with our "talent" after recruiting.

Folks, this is not being ugly . . . . it is simply asking questions or thinking "outside of the box".

What if we had Faton Bauta in the same backfield with the above mentioned talent?

Can Faton run the football? Can Faton throw the football? Does Faton Bauta have the "body" to run an offense that chooses to "come at you"?

Offenses and defenses change, unless you are a member of the club that "sticks" with what "we" have done for x number of years.

Speaking for myself, when I see Gurley, Marshall, Turman, Douglas, Cobb, Michel and Bauta, I begin to wonder about not only recuriting, but what system we choose to run offensively.

Did not take long for Gus Malzahn to take the lead and run his system . . . . In the SEC, of all places. How dare Gus do that. Watched urban meyer do the same thing. Many years ago watched Steve Spurrier take on the job at Florida, run a different system, changed gator football.

I can go along with just so much, then I have to ask questions about "why" we recruit a certain way. Then I look at players such as Moreno and scratch my head.

Not through with this thread, will be interesting to see how many go "silent".

Last thing . . . . If we (Georgia) are capable of bringing in top running back talent, what is our reasoning for the lack of offensive line talent for . . . . how many years?

Leadership should not take 13 years to accomplish with the amount of talent that has passed through Athens.

I believe every word that I have typed in this thread. Will not jump at anyone posting here, unless you provoke me. Simple questions about the Red and Black. Do understand "silence" have seen much of that on this board and others.

wishbone may not work against the type of D teams run now days, big fast DE's or the hybrid type LB/DE and the big guys inside at 290+ stack em up and shut em down...maybe the old Veer might not work either but it would be interesting.....but not gonna happen at pass happy U.......

IMO. Having AM and his ability to read coverage and get us into the right play at the line

Played a large role on our pass/run ratio. With healthy TG and KM I see us more balanced

The beauty is if the D's overplays the run we have the ability to pass the ball

I see yards after the catch playing big. We our trying to figure out what the personality

Of our offense will be. Think there maybe a few teams on our schedule doing the same

ogredawg, remember when VD semi-installed the veer at UGA. Worked, then went back to 3 yards and a cloud of dust. A bit like Willie Martinez trying to install the 2 deep.

Trying my best to understand how we recruit and reasoning behind the choices we make. By that, mean this . . . . Anyone that wants to believe that we have to have several of the best backs in the country and what is the reasoning for them to sit on the bench . . . .

Here is hoping that Pruitt/Rocker and Company make a huge dent in accomplishing what needs to be done on their side of the ball.

ogredawg, I read and watch certain comments, as do you. Think that I see us moving in the same direction that has not moved us to the place we need to go.

Question for the board. Does anyone think that our returning receivers have much to be looking forward to? Yes, all of us "think" we have abundent talent at the receiver positions. We still have problems at tightend, and we continue to have questions there.

Also understand that many have said and will say again that other teams have the same problems.

When I look at our running backs, the returning players on the defensive side, makes me wonder if every team in the SEC has the same problems.

Until "total leadership" is addressed, we will not make the final four. That my friends is my opinion. That is looking at a program that reminds me of the "Great Houdini". For those that don't know who "Houdini" was . . . . I will explain it with this . . . . much like the "Group" that controls UGA Football.
