The problem with that Grantham statement is obvious: offensively, we had the numbers to win a NC. 38 PPG is good enough. If his defense had been just DECENT, we win a NC in 2012 (and I'm saying CMR is the greatest ever:):)


If we had just been a 23 ppg defense, we are NC in 2012

I remember the days when defense won games.
It was Erk's defense that won our last NC.
