After walking out of Sanford after the 2009 Kentucky game, I swore he would never get my vote again as a decent coach.
Kind of sucked me back in with the 2012 season.
Never again, until he successfully completes the twelve step coaches anonymous program.

averagedawg, think that particular program meets on Saturdays, he is not available for them.

Posted this a while back and 36869 seemed to agree or like it. Think it fits here when we are discussing games from 2009 up until now . . . .

On the QB thing with Bauta and Ramsey and why they recruit these guys if they don't "fit" their offense.

I beleive schools recognize the talent at QB (or any position) and recruit them whether they fit the system YET or not.

PRIME example.....Jameis Winston. He ran a Wing-T type offense (multiple running attack etc) like Ramsey did. I think he transitioned pretty well as a pro style drop back passer and a pro style offense.

Point is both Bauta and Ramsey can be developed to play in UGA's system (or any system for that matter) and be very successful....they are very talented kids/athletes......imo.

First off wlayton, thank you. Again sincere.

My question to the media point has been this . . . . Is there a reason that Faton Bauta is not mentioned? They (media) by the way have the press passes. Probably the reason that "they" can't speak to the Faton Bauta issue is because Faton Bauta is wrapped up in the film room by "himself".

Sometimes folks that profess to be stone hard cold UGA fans don't take the time to do simple math. That has been and is ongoing in Athens today, and that does not just apply to quarterbacks.

Would ask one and all to review "their" comments on AM, before many realized that he was all that. Easy to jump on the wagon, hard to do that when being led in another direction by what "they" read. Have not been real ugly yet, but would not rule it out. Lived through the BS on this board and others about the "talent of AM". Lacking was the general concensus. I said that also.

Edit. wlayton, Faton Bauta is doing the exact thing that AM did. Beginning to believe that some think only young men from Georgia can play for our university. How has that worked out? Probaby get a better idea on that comment from Saban and Malzahn.

I personally think Bauta is there to simulate the Auburn/Missouri/now Fla offense.
Don't know if he gets a chance or not but from what I have read, he is chomping at the bit.

Buc....been with you all along on AM. Going with you on Bauta as well.

AM was a bit of a gunslinger early on in his career but you could see the talent and he had the swagger. Not ruling out Bauta getting some playing time next season.

averagedawg, the young man is a player. As good as AM, can't say that . . . . yet. He is strong as a mule, smart beyond belief, team player, not sure what is needed in Athens if Faton Bauta is not in the script.

Would go so far as to say this. Would consider being more a part of the UCF group if my university keeps its head up its butt. They are still asking me for my contribution. For what, another x number of years from this head coach. Will not happen.

Notice now that 300 "prime seats" are now available for those that choose to put the big bucks in the coffers. There was a discussion on this board about the "Group" gropping for money, they still are. Things are changing fast in Athens. There will come a time when all is not great on a Saturday afternoon in the Classic City. The millionaires will continue to take theirs. I said that.
