When we talk about the 90th percentile, I wonder if they were ever really riled up.

When I think 90 percentile, I think of those I know who were upset that Grantham left and were still saying "Well MR is a great guy, and it wasn't for all those injuries and youth on defense....."

Wartdawg, some still have the "towel" blocking the main view. Understandable. Folks love UGA football, I am one of those folks. Have been around long enough and witnessed enough to do as ogredawg said . . . . never again.

If that does not resonate, Pruitt, great hire. Explain the positions of those that run the program.

Offense is loaded. That is a good thing. One missing link, AM is not with us anymore, in spirit, yes, on the turf, no.

Would like nothing more than to see our defense come close to what Pruitt produced in Tallahassee. There is a mountain of talent on that side of the ball in Athens, just how many times does that need to be said on this board and others?

Ramik Wilson who sat on the bench under grantham/richt got his chance and . . . . . what? There are a couple of names that I can come up with off of the top of my head that Pruitt will replace Herrera with. Don't like names, don't read. Like winning football, Pruitt will change the age old philosophy of "time in service" guarantees playing time. mark richt philosophy. Keeps our program in the middle of the pack.

Garner, had his favorites and played them. Failed to coach others up. Don't agree with that, watch the entire football game for the National Championship 2013. Youtube has it. Garner was exposed again.

Pruitt will change that. Pruitt is full of piss and vinegar . . . . and comes from the youthful coaching era that is now being embraced. Don't believe that, Gus Malzahn is another recent graduate of high school football that flies in the face of folks like richt, garner, grantham and others.

Garner was richt's man until grantham arrived. richt has been and is still lost. Again, not like Pruitt is walking into a locker room that does not have talent, he is walking into a locker room that needs guidance along with teaching talent. Damn right richt should be happy, just insured himself of that payday(s) that wlayton says most would take and is probably right.

Thank you Coach Will Friend, and from what I can gather on the internet, you are in good standing again in Athens. Emotions are easily moved when folks are starved for "continuity".

One thing is pretty evident by the events of the last couple of days, apparently Kirby Smart is not as in love with UGA as some are in love with the idea of his return. I think we can count him out as far as coaching at UGA. One other thing, whats to say that our new DC will be here after next year if he does well and someone offers him an HC job. Dont laugh,it happened to Kiffen. This whole things a merry go round.

Dawg With Style, I have no doubts that Pruitt will change that and other "things", as do you.

Whether you agree or disagree, "richt got his with this hiring".

mark richt will "get out of the way" and let Pruitt do his thing. Did the same thing with grantham, he however made a bad hire and it came back to haunt him.

Program needed more help than mark richt had to offer. Game has passed him by. Going on 14 years, now he has pulled the masses back, and he can continue to do whatever he does.

richt will walk a "wide path" around Pruitt, once everything comes into play.

DWS, Special Teams were going to get special attention in 2011, according to our head coach. Think that richt found out that the hire of Pruitt would fix some of the problems that our head coach could not do in many years.

Eyes of Georgia, not the "Eyes of Texas" will be on UGA in the 2014 Season.

Never doubt this, richt will take every accolade offered if this works. Forgetting the many hires and years prior to Pruitt on the defensive side. Should mark richt be happy, guess so, as one member on this board said, most would take the money. Not talking about Pruitt, he is being paid more than Mike Bobo, a member of the coaching staff for many years. Pruitt is not a "Willie Puppet". richt will find out soon enough.

See where richt mentioned McClendon today in the press conference. Can't remember his doing that before. Sony Michel and Keyon Brown coming to Athens because of . . . . ? Fill in the imaginary blanks.

Good hire on Pruitt, need a good "fire". Won't happen, three more years at least under the present head coach.

growl, I believe another reason Pruitt took the job so quick (didn't even wait for a counter to my knowledge) is that in the back of HIS mind he is thinking that if he does a great job in Athens, he may take over as HC in 3-4 years.....

Head coach in waiting? Great jobs are usually awarded with promotions. Does the offensive side of the ball have anything to do with how the defense performs? Maybe we should think along the lines of a superior offensive line.

FSU did.
