I'm choosing WD's and other's approach....hope for the best with Pruitt and also hope a ST coach is hired. If they didn't have the guts to replace CMR and get KS then imo this was the next best option.

wlayton, I would have done what CMR did. I don't think CMR should be coach, but since is hasn't been fired, he did the right thing. Even if Pruitt turns out to be a one-hit wonder, at least he is a hell of a recruiter. Better than Grantham.

We all speak for ourselves. Do I think mark richt would walk away from a lucrative job, guess we have to go on past performance. Performance meaning the pay line. He certainly has not walked away. You are wrong when you say nobody would, which I can back up with FACT. Some folks seem to think it is ok to do a half ass job and pull down top money. Have met many in my life.

Choosing WD's and others approach. Go back to the beginning in this thread and others and read WD's approach to mark richt and the system. WD changed his mind, that is for him to do. I can point out others on this board and this thread that had different thoughts about mark richt a short time back. At that point those folks did not know that Pruitt would be the "next" defensive coordinator.

Not talking about Kirby Smart, mark (rich) richt is the subject now.
