Below is the list of commitments thus far for 2014. Maybe there are some bomb shells to come, but as of right now 10/24/2013 would urge you to look at the list. Click on the players name and see which coach or coaches are doing the recruiting. You might be surprised if you have not done this before. Some things just poke their ugly heads out. Not real hard to figure out who is bringing the players to Georgia. This is the last hint I am giving, and this one is too big. Check the defensive side.

Will wait and see if there are any comments, if not will add my two cents.

Aw Buc, cmon.......CTG recruited ONE guy, what more could you possibly want??????....Geeeeez ;)

Btw, liked that two of the 3 DB's they got commitments from are 6'2" and 6'3".

This is what sparked my curosity about the Grantham recruit. Keyon Brown is all that for sure. Goes along with what was said earlier in this thread, Grantham is looking and selling players on being just like Jarvis was. Grantham, IMHO is building his own ego and future resume on players like Jarvis Jones. Convinced that I am not reading between the lines. Also for the record, Mark Richt is the reason that Jarvis chose the University of Georgia. Also know this . . . . any other defensive coordinator could not possibly have helped JJ to the NFL. Right? Don't all speak at once.

Lived on Alta Vista in 1968 and 1969 before moving to Midland (Lake Shore Drive) across Macon Rd from the Lake Crystal trailer park..wow small world.

So far Wilson has proven to be a pretty good coach and recruiter. For years thought Rodney Garner was all that. Maybe he got complacent or fed up. Takes a special attitude to stay at one place and maintain a high level of enthusiasm for your job. Wonder if Richt's demeanor dampens some of that enthusiasm. A lot of coaches preach about staying calm/even keel etc but I know for me personally in sports, hard to do your best without having some emotion thrown in there.

Tough thing about being a coach, manager, supervisor whatever not every player or employee is motivated the same way. Especially in this day and time, my way or the highway doesn't work. While players might not walk off and quit like an employee they damn sure won't give their all in to studying the playbook, watching film, practicing. etc . The game day play suffers. Got to find that right mix of motivational tactics. Don't think our HC has done that or even tries too.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

Does'nt surprise me much to see TGs name only once, just like on the sidelines always by himself, yelling and hollering at the field and headset falling off.......

Check the 2013 recruiting list out. Would love to have a job that pays the bucks Todd Grantham receives, and hang around Athens, waiting for the recruits to come to him so he can sit with them and show the young men where they would play position wise in the film room.

Appears to me that we have two head coaches.

Check Mike Bobo's name out on the recruit list, along with McClendon, Ball and Lilly.

Grantham is full of himself.

36869 we moved from Alta Vista to Midland in 1949. Midland had one country store across the street from the grammar school on County Line Road. Have some photos somewhere, will send them to you if I can find them. Right by the railroad tracks.

Solid post 36869.

Growl, Grantham is all about "look at me". Saints turned him away. Jerry does not need him in Dallas, Saban has not invited him back. Guess those of us at UGA are stuck with him. Say it again . . . . He ain't all that.

Think about this . . . . the top pass rusher is Leonard Floyd, Grantham did not pull him in. Goes to show that the players don't have to sit and watch film with the "Ego Man".

When I said enough is enough, someone my age does not need to hear the same old BS that is often repeated. More and more think it is all about the money. JMHO.

He's full of something alright...not sure if "himself" would be my first choice.
