Ever since Richt pulled back the leash on Grantham, Grantham is pulling back his ability to coach our defense which in turn, is making Richt look bad. Grantham is the type of coach that doesn't take wearing a leash at all, let alone being pulled back from it.
Intentionally not coaching well out of spite so he can make Richt look bad? Is that what you meant?
If that's what you meant, then that's a pretty loaded charge.
Certainly not speaking for Rdawg, as I'm sure he can speak for himself, but I didn't get the same impression of what he said. I got the impression he was saying that when Grantham was forced to change his demeanor, it negatively impacted his coaching style and as a result made richt look bad. I didn't get the feeling he meant he did it on purpose. If he did mean that, I don't agree by any stretch.
I also don't agree that the change affected his results, I just don't think he's a very good DC.

I doubt they would fire him after one bad season but crazier things have happened. Plus if he were to get fired he would probably find another HC job somewhere wouldn't ya think...
GO DAWGS
I wouldn't hire him as a HC if I was at a major program. He is a very good DC though imo....
Interesting to see what a KS (HC), Bobo (OC) and Muschamp (DC) would do together...

I thought that as well, but it was worded oddly. That's why I asked, lol
Although I wonder tremendously about a guy whose coaching ability depends on him having the freedom to scream
and pick fights with opposing coaches.
God Bless and Go Dawgs

That would be interesting. Plus all are alumni.
With TG sometimes I even forget that he was not our first choice at DC. The results I think speak for themselves.

No need to wonder....it didn't affect his ability--he's just not a very good coach and was using it as a diversion.
Kind of like, "Don't notice we almost lost to Vandy, look at how I stuck up for my players."
