Tomorrow morning McGarity fires Mark Richt.

Tell me what you would do. Not what McGarity would do, what you would do.

Don't feel that is an unreasonable question.

Think I know what I would do.

At some point, that question has to be answered.

And I was accused of not being a real UGA fan when I made the same comments concerning coaching after the first game.

I guess I am not as dumb a young puppy as I look.

The one thing I was wrong about, big surprise, other than a few conservative series, Bobo has been the best coach on the staff.

Pursue Kirby Smart. If I was McGarity and went that route, presumably I would have talked to Kirby or his agent before hand. If he had no intention of leaving bama (which I feel certain would NOT be an issue) I would pursue Patterson or Peterson.
I think Kirby wants to coach here, and I think rolling the dice on the DC of the two time defending national champion (and 3 of the last 4) is no bigger a risk than hiring the OC of one time defending national champion FSU.

Buc if you're talking the literal tomorrow, as in mid season, I don't think that should happen. Don't really think we have anybody capable of taking over the role as an interim HC.

sadlerdawg, there is one thing that I know. Been on this board for a while. If I ask a point blank question . . . . who is it that I ask if it involves touchy subjects. That is exactly what I did, and got just exactly what I expected.

Richt will be here until 2015, that is my best guess. That is all we are allowed to know. If there was any way that we could get Kirby Smart to buy into that, no question, Kirby is the man.

As much as has been said about Mike Bobo, would also like to see Smart and Bobo together. Those two together, in my opinion, could turn our program around. At this point, most of us know that there has to be as I think you have said either directly or indirectly, a thorough cleansing.
