Wart, couldn't agree more. Richt will be here unless he has back to back losing seasons or pulls a 2012 auburn.

Richt has no say so on defense, leaves it alone as it has been mentioned numerous times. Therefore all the problems we see on that side of the ball falls directly on TG and his staff. However, it becomes Richts problem if he doesn't do what needs to be done at the end of the season. Willie stayed for far too long in Athens, fans pretty much ran him out of town. Don't need to see that again, sometimes tough decisions need to be made.

Was thinking this morning, looks pretty good on a job resume that offense basically has won all of our games for us, bobo might gogo after all. Might see some coaching changes regardless after this season.

Buc, I honestly believe if TG fails here, he won't be given another chance atleast not as a defensive coordinator. Will go the same as as Willie, one school to another as a position coach. Sure as heck don't say too much good about the coaches we hire.

He had his chance to be here as a DC, which as Saban publicly spoke out against, was a lateral move and was not wise in his opinion, and I agreed. I wanted him to come, and hoped like hell he would, but I was pretty sure he wouldn't as a DC. Now as a HC, I think he would jump at that chance. Don't ever see it happening, but if richt ever left unexpectedly, I bet Kirby would be calling McGarity to apply.
But like you said, he is probably next in line at bama, and I think he would choose UGA over bama if he was a DC, but once he is HC at bama I doubt we'd ever get him, and I have a feeling that will be the case as Saban will get bored winning championships and quit before we ever get rid of richt.

Worst D in the conference. That is all that needs to be said.

At beginning of season, I was one of the those saying we had nothing to worry about. D would be better because they would play as complete unit. No superstars. Went as far as to say that I liked it that way. Believed CTG could work with this group and improve from last year. Only twice this year this D has risen to the occasion. Last half of the 4th Qtr of LSU game and 3rd Qtr of Missouri game. Rest of season has been horrible. Secondary can't cover, line gets no penetration, no one can tackle. And if I am not mistaken, the inexcusable personal foul - ruffing the passer penalty on third down led to the wide receiver pass for a TD.

UGA ranks #13 in SEC in pass defense efficiency. #13 in opponents converting on 3rd down, #12 in red zone defense, #14 in scoring defense, and tied for #8 in total defense.

The bottom line is that UGA has won games this year because the O has outscored opponents. With key playmakers out, we can not afford 4 turnovers, missed blocking assignments, a putrid D, and unacceptable special teams.

The "House of Cards" fell Saturday afternoon in Athens.

I'm sure most who have been on the board for a while know that my entire family besides me are FSU fans. Sometimes I wish our fans were as passionate and demanding as theirs. Example--
Since richt has been here, he has won the conference twice (last one in '05), been to 3 BCS bowls (last one in '07), and played for 0 national championships, and is loved and revered by the majority of the fans.
In Bobby Bowden's last 12 seasons (for comparison to richt) FSU won their conference 7 times, went to 7 BCS bowls, played for the NC 3 times, winning one...and he was run out of town. Their fans didn't care that he coached a team that was in the running for the NC practically every year from '87 to'02, or that he won another NC, or that he was a great recruiter that parents loved. All they cared about was that the game had passed him by, he had lost control of his program, he was making poor coordinator hires......sound familiar????
