On the offense, the line is a joke.
The only suspense left in the year is whether the D or the O-line takes the Last Comic Standing trophy as the biggest joke of the year.
How about Mizzou stacking the box in the first half killing our 2 TE set and rushing game. Had less than 50 yards rushing at the half. in 2nd half we spread the field go to 3 and 4 wide and Douglas and Green kick their collective asses running the ball.

I am stuck in East Alabama, surrounded by Tide and Tiger fans and you know what I have NEVER HEARD one of them say "oh we can still win the west".
Alabama goes into every season and every game thinking they can win the NC. They don't even mention winning the SEC they want the whole thing. I know some people that have friends that play and have played for Bama and they say that is exactly how the coaches and team thinks as well.
The goal should be the NC and then the east and sec championships will be there. Not lets win the east and see what happens after that.
was kidding when I was saying that....just trying to keep the sunshine pumpers happy

Grantham in denial?
Grantham when asked the state of his defense:
“When you look at our team, we’re a young team that does some good things. For example, in the second half we played pretty good, OK, until there at the end. I think anytime you’ve got young guys, there’s gonna be a lapse or two, or a thing here or there that can extend a drive or create a seam, or allow them to make some plays.
A lapse or 2? what game was he watching?

Can't keep laying it off on the young pups. If that is the case, then someone is saying that this group of players on the defense are not up to SEC caliber football. JMHO.
Buc, last year was not a bunch of young pups and it wasn't much better.
36869, in your camp. In my opinon last year we had a couple of players that were what I would classify as "Clowneyish".
Have said all along, I like folks pulling together, not sure what I am seeing in certain areas. With young players, really want to see improvement. Maybe I am wrong, having a hard time not so much with the loss today, the way we lost.
We have been close several times in games we have played this season. Today, our defense could not pull this game out as has been the case with our offense prior to todays game.
There is no doubt that our team is wounded, some hard licks passed today. Will be interesting to hear the injury report, if we are given one.
