I remember a CTG that was going to rip a new one into James Franklin. That CTG is no more.

I still place my blame with the head dawg.

Of course. Richts softness is all over this program. I hope AD has the balls to send the shit head coach on a mission trip to way the hell from Athens.

The hopelessness of this "defense" was exposed yesterday for me in one instant--after Franklin went out injured and I'm thinking that maybe that will slow thier offense down, their F'in wide receiver throws a 40 yard TD pass. Incredible.

That play was indicative of the D's problems for sure. No one maintains their responsibilities and assignments. That happens on normal plays, and shows up magnified on trick plays. We've been especially susceptible to them for awhile.

D plays with absolutely no discipline. It shows up in their tackling, positioning, maintaining lanes and coverages.

It's true this year with our pups, and it was true last year when we had 7 NFL draft on that side of the ball.

I'm not over UGA, but I'm so very over TG and his D.

Agree and disagree.

Did our injuries play a part in this loss.....imo....absolutely. BUT could we have still won the game?....YES.

The offense struggled but was still good enough if we had ANY resemblance of a D.

Been suspect of CTG for a while.....he needs to go.

"The perfect storm" for a loss.....injuries, living on the edge every week, emotionally spent.....and CTG.

This D will continue to be bad, no way to get to Atlanta without Gurley and Bennett because we will have to score 45 every game to have a chance.

Know what else is a perfect storm for a loss? Having a stellar group of athletes led by a group of misfit coaches who can't comprehend how to correct problems that have been around for years.

I thought the offense would have to carry the D the first 4-5 games until the D could gel.....unbelievable that the D has regressed...no excuses imo. The D has one starter out, most of the injuries are on the offensive side of the ball....that D is inept and unacceptable, particularly at the mid point of the season.
