I've been quiet all season because the emotional drain every weekend has just been too much.
I think we lose this game this weekend. I have no faith in the defense and our special teams is atrocious this year.
These two things plus the injuries are too much for the Dawgs to overcome this weekend.
I don't think we can score 40+ this week. Given the points we give up on D and the problems on SP I think we drop this one in a close game.
I would like to have faith in the D but we gave up 30+ to a UT team that had no business being in that game at halftime. We can't make stops on 3rd and long. Don't even get me started on the 4th down conversions last weekend. We have only one pick on the season. The secondary can't cover anyone.
If we had not sustained all the injuries on the O then I would say we win this one by 10-14. I just feel this is the game where our horrendous defense and special teams lose the game for us.
I hope I am wrong.

Go Dawgs!!!!

PS-Our D only gave up 24, our ST gave up 7 of the 31 and if you take away that phantom TD then they only gave up 17 (pretty good coverage on that TD too)...

Look at it like this... Mizzou ranks somewhere in the 100+teens in pass defense, giving up close to
300 yards per game.
They are giving up that yardage against, against Murray St, Toledo, Indiana, Arkansas State and Vandy.
Respectfully here... Aaron Murray, Chris Conley, Rontavious Wooten, Artie Lynch, Reggie Davis, et al...
These guys are better than what Mizzou faced from Murray St, Toledo, Indiana, Arkansas State and Vandy.
Our O-line has been opening up holes, and JJ has shown he is a breakway threat every time he touches the
ball. The O-line has been opening holes against the like of LSU...
Unless we just ____ the pooch with bad play calling and turnovers, I don't see the O dropping off that
much. We should be able to move and score.
While our ST fails have been epic, they are not guaranteed to happen every single week.
So to me it comes down to D. This is the game; our defense... not the offense.
God Bless and Go Dawgs

I think we put 40 + on them , the difference in the outcome of the game will be how well the defense plays. Running quarterbacks have always been a thorn in our side and so far Franklin is playing well ( albeit against poor teams). As many have said the defense has a lot of studs, up to the coaches to put them in position to play both the run and the pass.
Special teams ? Ugh
Some are wise and some are otherwise !
