Cats coming to town.

I just got back from my morning commute, listening to the "AJC of Radio", namely 680 the Fan here in the Atlanta area. It's just no secret - everyone on 680, everyone here, and even Les Miles has said it: LSU is going to RUN the football. Miles said they will play the same way they always play. Run the ball, try to control the clock, get points, and take some shots down the field. Some of the 680 crowd seems to think UGA might stop the run, and as a result, win.

The big question is whether our D has grown up enough. We're about to find out.

Another interesting thing Miles said. When asked about the best way to defend against AM, he said you disguise coverages and try to rattle him. He also made mention that when he hands off the ball, if you can stop the run and give him long yardage to make up on 2nd or third down, he gets rattled. I don't know if the USCe defensive coordinator would agree necessarily.

I agree with KD. Everyone is talking about LSU and how they can run the ball - and with good reason. But I'm not hearing very much about how capable the UGA offense is. It's pretty capable. I'm also not hearing much about weakness in the LSU defense. Judging by the Abuurn game, it has at least SOME vulnerability, especially to the run. And we have the ability to put hoof on turf.

Is it possible that today is only Wednesday? That's just not possible. I want Saturday to get here.

thriller, watched a Mike Bobo video, he said virtually the same thing about LSU. They will run the ball. Not to be fooled, Zach can and will toss the pigskin. Bobo said the only difference in this years LSU team from past years, numbers on jerseys have changed, nothing else.

Like the fact that Les Miles has got AM figured out. ;) Guess we will see come Saturday.

Another piece that I read mentioned Special Teams will have some help from others higher up on the roster.

Wartdawg, drives me crazy when I messy up . . . . feint. Some times fingers move and brain is still on the bench. :)

I don't think LSU Has played the competition we have in the last 5 games So When they come to Athens They're not gonna know what hit them Murray And the crew Are going to show out.
I hope Rumph gets to play and Bleacher Report said Richt was hopeful about Rome.

"Georgia’s rotation on the offensive line with players moving to different spots has faded as roles have become more defined."

I know we scored on Clemson, but I think that moving around on the line hurt us in that game. A certain lack of cohesiveness that is
now coming around.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Haven't said much, because just about everything thing has been covered, and there has been a lot of good reads. SEC is a line of scrimmage league. Has been, always will be. Been seing quite a few comments about LSU D not being very good. They might not be what they were 2 years ago, but they will be the best defense we have played, and probably the 2nd best we will face all year. I know Chavis stated, he was more excited about the talent of this D line than any he has coached in recent history. He feels strongly that their talent up front is just as strong as years past. Man does not sugar coat anything. Makes me believe they are going to be a lot better than many think.

I watched the Aub game. Aub did nothing early and were down 21-0 very quickly. LSU D was flying around. Looked to me like they lost a little of their intensity. Their players stated they did, and it was pretty clear they did watching the game. Yeah Aub scored some points, but watching the game, Marshall put a couple of balls in spots that were just perfect. I mean by inches.

I believe we can win. We just have to play a very solid football game. Bad things may happen. Not going to say we can't turn the ball over, or make a mistake. We just have to keep playing and take advantage of our chances at turnovers.

Don't do this often but here would be my breakdown on position advantages:

QB - Murray
RB - UGA, but very close
WR - Landry will be the best WR on the field, but I like our corp better. UGA
TE - Not even close. UGA
OL - lsu
DL - lsu
LB - UGA
SEC - lsu

Should be fun. Can't wait to watch.

GO DAWGS. What a recruiting boost this could make. Already saw where one DB who was committed to usc has decommitted and is considering UGA

Intentionally forgot ST rating - I think we all know where the advantage goes after last weekend.

Hines Ward was on the Tim Brando Show this morning. Hines seems to agree with most here that this game with LSU is probably the most important game we have played in a long, long time.

Brando said that he has not seen this much "build up" by media and fans going back a ways. Lots of things, football wise are at stake. Here is hoping that those that can and will attend the game let their presence be felt.

If we don't get a single sack, here is hoping that ZM hears the sound of cleats getting close, often. Close will count in this game.

Referees, let the two teams play. Still feel that the whistles might sound off early, won't let two hard hitting teams get away with "trash". Good, clean, hard hitting football will be the order of the day.

Who would have thought some time back that ZM and AM would be leading these two teams against each other between the Hedges. Strange how life works.

Go Dawgs!
