Wow, what a great game!! Just glad our DAWGS were on the winning side of this one. Great game by Murray, proverbial monkey off his back. Another great game by Gurley. Defense has got to find their stride. Couldn't believe the bad angles our pups were taking on a fast Conner Shaw whom by the way is one heckuva QB. Now basically two weeks off to get ready for LSU. Langley will learn from his scorching and get better. Remember he was a top rated recruit and spurned the Spurs on NSD. See a lot of good things but man do we need to improve because LSU's ground game will be brutal. Davis was a beast and wouldn't if not for Murray may win SEC POTW.

I've had issues with CMR, but saturday he was "on". if he plays to win the rest of the year, I'm all good. I just HOPE we realize the toss sweep to Gurley is GOOD

Great to get a win against SC and a top 10 team.

The Good: Offensive line blocked well. Overpowered SC defense in most cases. AM had time to throw and looked good going 17 of 23 for 309 yds, receivers had good day with only a few drops (the Davis drop over the middle would have been a big gainer). Running backs ran with authority. Very impressed with Hicks and Douglas. Good play calling overall. Also no turnovers and no drive killing penalties. Only one punt, and kick off coverage was good.

The Bad: Errors on special teams. Fumbled snap on punt gave SC 6 pts.

The Ugly: Poor tackling at the line of scrimmage. Too many yds after first contact. Could not contain QB who rushed for 75yds, DB's took bad angles giving up 75 yd run and were picked apart again. TD at end of 2nd qtr was heartbreaking. Although the goal line stand was outstanding. Think we got a little help there .... who runs 4th and 1 from the shotgun? . Overall improvement still needed, but not as bad as Clemson game.

Time to rest up and get healthy during off week. Would really like to see Douglas get plenty playing time against N Texas. Time for D to step up!

You ever notice that every time Gurley gets tackled, he fall forward?

That is a GREAT back. After this season, I think he can make the case for being the 2nd best back ever at UGA. OK, I wasn't around for those guys in the 40's, but since #34, he may be the best.
