Duck, I am truly sorry that you feel this thread was aimed at you. Not going to go into a lot of detail. Frankly, telling the absolute truth, you did not cross my mind when this thread was put up for all to see.

Being in the publishing and advertising business for many years, I learned how to look at numbers. Not talking necessarily accounting numbers, numbers that produce results from an effort being shown by ownership. If you read what GooseDawg78 had to say about this site, it could not be put forth in a better or more professional way.

If you read the entire thread, read what DAWGtm who has 64 posts on this site had to say. Better yet, will copy and paste.

I am one of the ones that due more reading than posting. Just speaking for myself I'm not privileged to be in the circles and know the people that others on this board including yourself do. I am just as big of fan and have just as many opinions as any it's just that I'm not a big poster. I want to say that I appreciate each and every member on this board that does post because without them I would not have the incite of what's going on inside of UGA football and would have to rely on just the media outlets.

Sometimes I get a little annoyed when I see posts that are a result of folks not reading what preceded them. That is me, we all have our hang ups. Duck, I have read every post in every thread that has been allowed on this site since I joined.

This is my personal message to you and you can send a private message if you choose.

I do not believe that there is a more dedicated University of Georgia follower than Duck. I mean that. I think sometimes that you get your feelings hurt, but what the hell, you are a Big Dawg now, take it, chew it and move on. How in the world could I dislike someone that wears the Red and Black on their sleeves? Brother, would jump in a foxhole with you in a minute. I know you and know where your heart is.

If you choose to be negative, that is you. If I choose to respond, that is me. This is not personal, it is a group of folks that have one common thread. University of Georgia.

Emotion is a powerful thing. I'm a lot like Duck when watching a game I get tore up. Screaming at the tv like someone can hear me. Emotion is what makes this board great because if you truly care about something you will be emotional. I just wish we could bottle the emotion on this board and give a dose to our players sometime. We started last season without any on D and if I wasn't for SW injecting some we would not have won the East.

DAWGtm, I sincerely hope that you don't think that Duck and youself are the only ones that do what you described above.

Don't think that everyone reads this. Pertains to football, college football. If we can get the NCAA to get their heads out of their butts, who knows, the NFL might have to come off of their high horse. Am I talking to myself, I hope not. Thoughts . . . . ?

The guy that welcomed me to this board has been silent for some time. I don't like it. This is one of the subjects that both of us were heavily wrapped in. Appears that the TRUTH has shown its face again kentdaddy. You are missed. imo

Steve is no different than a lot of folks that "step out" and take a chance.

I read posts on other boards. Without fail members will come up and say . . . . "this is the best UGA board on the internet". Don't have a problem with that statement, that is what "lost souls" believe.

Going back to what GooseDawg78 said today, post #44. There is a reason to be a part of this board. If anyone thinks differently, take a couple of minutes and check some of the stupid crap that is available on the AJC blogs, and others after a column is written. That is not a shot at the beat writer(s), it really shows the stupidity of the posters. (Not all, some).

One thing that I know. Most of the folks that are allowed to post on this site, stay. Since I have been here, my best recollection is that two have been booted. Both of those were from teams that we were going to face off with, and they were full of piss and vinegar. Steve does not have a "short trigger". Basically . . . . "Easy pull". He does mean what he says, take that for what it is worth. No, not kissing Steve's butt . . . . that is who he is. Have never met the man face to face. Believe he is one of us.
