Many think Adams will go elsewhere, have this funny feeling growl . . . . ;)

Have high hope for John Taylor. Personally think he is going to be an absolute terror in the middle. Believe that he will be better than the last two at that position. That is not sour grapes, I think Taylor is going to be all that. imo.

I hear ya Wart and understand but how do you know that....to my knowledge there's no statistical data to measure the "depth of having depth" (sorry had to use that).

Don't get me wrong, I love the way BAMA play's ball but if I'm sitting there watching the game, I'm begging for a score as soon as possible.....I'll take my chances on the D.

I don't think any of us was totally happy with the D this year and lack of some depth.... we still went 12-2....additions to the D to BAMA's level, you're looking at 14-0/NC.

I will NEVER get upset with scoring quick and take my chance on D......just SCORE!

Weren't we just criticizing CMR/Bobo the last couple of years about our lousy offense??

Maybe a piece of good news. Might carry some weight when we look at the players we are trying to lure to Athens.

Florida's defensive coordinator is moving on to Seattle. Still a lot of talk down this way about Muschamp and his antics. Keep it up Muschamp, just remember that Jeremy Foley is watching . . . . :)

Actually.. we were criticizing him for play calling even when we were scoring some
points. Inconsistent and sometimes really odd play calling... like passing when we
shouldn't be passing... only running deep routes, etc.

I am NEVER upset when we score in any way either. That would be stupid.

I do however get quite upset when our D has been on the field all day long, and our
offense goes out there with a lead late in a game... goes 3 and out with 2 incomplete passes that stop the clock and we have to run our D right back on the field.

In my opinion the above statement hits the nail on the head. I think the biggest deference between us and Bama is they are able to impose there will on you. When the want to run they run and it goes back to the O line. Our line is not there yet maybe, hopefully we will get the missing pieces with the incoming class. We were able to run when we could mix up plays but when we try to grind it out not that much success.

DAWGtm, from where I sit, you are spot on. Alabama imposes their will on everyone. TAM beat the Tide, but the Crystal is in Tuscaloosa.

Ask any team member that Alabama played, or any talking head that worked the Tides games and the answer will reflect what you said in your post. They get the top recruits, their recruits feel that no one is capable of beating them.

Looking forward to Alabama and TAM facing off in Texas in 2013. If I was a betting man, think it will be much like the Notre Dame game. Johnny Football is now looking at Saban, and Saban and Smart will have blood in their eyes. imo.
