UGA Football Supporter or . . . .?

Have seen the following suggested on another site. Have to say that I am in agreement. If Todd Grantham decides to make the move to Philly, good on him, that decision rests with Grantham and his family. Family can remain in Athens and Grantham can coach in Philly. No, not trying to get rid of our defensive coordinator. That is something that none of us on this board control.

I like as I mentioned seeing on another site, maybe as a replacement choice, Kirk Olivadotti. Knows football, excellent recruiter, team player. Has many connections in the NFL. College football players like that.

Noticed that Florida replaced Dan Quinn, defensive coordinator, with his able assistant.

Quite frankly, with the talent that is in Athens, anyone that has experience and the players can relate to, does not bother me when someone moves. Kind of like the phrase that Todd Grantham has used and I know that I have picked up on . . . . next man up.

I tend to think that we have to go after a proven DC if the need arises. The last promote from within did not work out all that well. Offer the money and they will show the interest.

Manny Diaz is proving himself as an able D Cordinator at Texas and previously at Middle Tenn. Just a lot of good ones out there to not try to hire them away.

Ellis Johnson is going to work wonders at Aubuurn.

If I were a betting man Buc I'd bet that we need to ask the next man up to "man up" and get ready for some football,or at least start thinking about who we need. As long as no one calls WM.

Plus guys... don't get me wrong. I am not saying we should revamp our offense into something it's not. Not saying we need to stop being explosive or attempt to return to the days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

It's just to be all we hope to be... I think being able to control the clock in certain key situations would benefit us. We could
do a bit better in that area, and there is no way it wouldn't make us stronger.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

For those that have not seen or heard about this . . . . :)

“I am about to cut off all my official visits,” Wiggins told ESPN RecruitingNation. “Richt says no more.”

Wiggins, who visited South Carolina last weekend, had considered taking trips to Mississippi State and Texas A&M despite an 11-month long commitment to Georgia. But Wiggins decided to solidify his commitment to the Bulldogs by shutting down the recruiting process.

“I just feel like leading other schools on would hurt the chances of another recruit getting that scholarship,” Wiggins said, “so I just had a real conversation with my parents and decided to make my decision. I am 100 percent committed to UGA and I just feel like UGA is the place for me.”

This comes after having visited South Carolina. Great get. growl think you and I had a private conversation about something along these lines. . . . ;)

Never hurts to have a shut down corner . . . . Shaq Wiggins is just that. :woohoo: :woohoo:
