Manny Diaz is proving himself as an able D Cordinator at Texas and previously at Middle Tenn. Just a lot of good ones out there to not try to hire them away.

Names you mention are on top of their game for sure. Don't think I would compare Kirk Olivadotti and Willie Martinez.

Ellis Johnson is not really going into a school that has no talent. He is going to a place that has dug itself a huge hole with their lack of discipline. That ends with Ellis Johnson.

Actually.. we were criticizing him for play calling even when we were scoring some
points. Inconsistent and sometimes really odd play calling... like passing when we
shouldn't be passing... only running deep routes, etc.

I am NEVER upset when we score in any way either. That would be stupid.

I do however get quite upset when our D has been on the field all day long, and our
offense goes out there with a lead late in a game... goes 3 and out with 2 incomplete passes that stop the clock and we have to run our D right back on the field.

Not really comparing CKO with WM Buc. Just saying that we are a big time program that plays in the toughest conference, just not a place for an unproven or for a coach who has never been a DC to cut his teeth so to speak. Not saying that CKO would do a bad job, are we willing to take a chance on someone with no experience. Been there done that and it did not work out.

Extremely happy Shaq ended his recruitment. We need DB's. What an opportunity for these young pups.

Going to stay quiet about CTG. Hoping he doesn't get caught up in $$$.

BVG si a prime example of what can happen when you let you ego get out of control.

Right now, I am just disappointed for Jarvis Jones. I know the guys doesn't play for recognition, but as a Dawg Fan, he deserved it. He didn't win one national defensive award becaues of Teo. He had just as good if not better numbers(yeah I know interception), and got screwed out of the awards he rightly deserved. All because of the drama associated with the Teo story. Shame. Oh yeah, ESPN and all the other media big times, you took away trophies from a more deserving player, and gave them to a kid who was apart of a hoax. Jarvis went through hard times. Just as hard as Teo.

Jarvis Jones, you are a great young man that deserved a lot more from the national media than you received. Shame on them.
