Thought I would throw this out.
Warren Belin, who has 20 years of experience as a college coach, made his professional coaching debut in 2011 as the Panthers linebackers coach. The veteran assistant came to Carolina following a one-year stint at Georgia and an eight-year tenure at Vanderbilt.
Working with the inside linebackers in his only season at Georgia in 2010, Belin mentored linebacker Akeem Dent, who led the team and ranked second in the Southeastern Conference with 126 tackles. Dent, an All-SEC second-team choice, was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Additionally, Belin handled the Bulldogs' kickoff coverage unit, which ranked first in the conference.
Guessing of course, maybe the reason that Belin left was because of the upcoming coaching changes that were going to be made. Most on this board wished Coach Belin well. In his new job he does not have to be a part of the "special teams", Carolina has a "special teams" coach.
Really hope that we get a handle on coverage this season. Being number one again in the SEC would be nice and who knows, might lead to bigger and better things.
