Coaching, Recruiting Thoughts

Three clear reasons you over recruit those OL.
They're all not gonna work out.
A couple are gonna get hurt.
Some of those undiscovered turn out to be great.
How hard could it be to recruit a few more OL?
Maybe start looking at these kids when they are sophomores in high school.

I have said it before, and I still say the same thing, CMR has no clue how to coach a team to it potential. Nor does he know how to recurit as mentioned about the OL situation. He seems to think yo get good RB's and QB's and everything will work out. Haven;t seen to many teams that the RB and QB win games all by themself.

Hey.. I'm in agreement with y'all about CMR but at some point I grew tired of saying it
over and over again and then being told I don't know what I'm talking about by his
supporters.

So yeah... I'm right there with you guys, but he is our coach and there's nothing I can do
about it.

Wartdawg you are on point in your statement. Would add this, there are several here that have said the same thing for years. First person that comes to my mind is kentdaddy, also sadlerdawg, ogredawg and there are others.

About to sign an extension, so you are on point again, nothing that can or will be done about it for several years.

Maybe somewhere along the line McGarity will force Mark Richt into another direction. Best chance there in my opinion. Bet is that we will see a lot more offensive and defensive linemen being recruited in the future. Richt said this past season to the media that he did not read or know what was going on with the hot seat. After recruiting this year he changed that statement.

He has what should be a schedule this season that does not have many if any blemishes.

You know guys, as much as we have been talking about being deficient in recruiting OL....DB is far and away the most critical area right now. I have no idea what they’re going to do after we lose all 4 starters this year, and we’d better hope that we stay healthy this year.
