Just an old man's opinion. Think that Saban would rather have Smart end up at Georgia.
Not because of any reason other than the fact that coaching at the University of Georgia is a better job than the Tennessee job. Tennessee is no longer the mecca of aspiring coaches, contrary to what their stupid fan base would have you believe.
As Buc says, Saban truly cares for and appreciates Kirby Smart.

I didn't realize it was that many.Talk about wasting scholarships.

Maybe the "excellent recruiter" label should be removed from any description of CMR. If so I guess the only good thing I can say about him is he is a "good Christian man".

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

wlayton, know that you, I and others like what we saw with the Boise State Program. They are focused in the same manner as Saban, maybe not the same talent . . . (silly me) but the coaches are in the game to win the game. Picked this little ditty up to pass along. Here is a coach running the offense that did not cower, he said this is what I want. He got it. This is what I hope that Coach Friend does and is allowed to do. Not satisfied with top to bottom at UGA.

Soon after offensive coordinator Brent Pease was hired by the Florida Gators, he made it clear to the coaching staff that he wanted a quarterback as part of the team’s 2012 recruiting class. He got his wish Friday as three-star QB Skyler Mornhinweg (Philadelphia, PA) announced that he has officially switched his commitment from the Penn State Nittany Lions to the Gators.

What does this really say to me . . . it says that the Florida Gators are capable of getting players from all parts of the country, Muschamp might be better than I once thought. Someone in Athens had better get their heads out of their behinds and improve like Coach Grantham has done and is doing on the defensive side of the ball. Believe it or not folks, defensive players get tired. Say what you want, we need the big, bad folks that control the line of scrimmage. Don't think that Richt/Bobo truly understand that. One man's opinion . . . . again. Where are you kentdaddy?

They are waiting for Peyton Manning's return as HC.
