#1, I'm not a Math teacher
#2, you are wrong on your recollection of the game.
#3, Maybe a little Math education by our coaches would make them realize that if one player is eating you up, then you ADD a player to that side of the line to help, OR, you roll your QB out to the opposite side, OR you change tactics and go power I, OR you screen over him, and
#4, I played football, and yes, I know the game as well as you do son.

We've hit a stalemate here so i am out of this thread as it's going nowhere. Will converse on other ones.

You accept defeat and the fact that another team (who had a few games where they got blasted too so don't give me this is the greatest DL since the horsemen) out schemed us, but I don't. Many on the board are looking for ways to get better, not to just be happy we got to the Outback Bowl.

Everyone knows where I stand: Bobo isn't good enough to out with the best, and that being the case, I want an upgrade. When CMR was winning his first 5 years, the coaching depth in the SEC was a little less than it is today.

Mike Shula I think was Bama's coach.
Miles and Spurrier were in their first seasons at LSU and SC
Petrino was at Louisville..

Meyer was at UF, and golly... seems that though we won the SEC that year, we did lose
to Meyer.

That's where I disagree, many on the board are not looking to get better, many on the board are looking to bash.

Haven't heard a solution besides a boot, which I think would have been a good idea. Those are obvious after the fact. Again, after the fact.

I don't accept losing, funny how I don't blame everything on the coaching staff, and now I accept losing. Not really following that, but whatever works in your mind. I do agree with you on Richt's first couple of years, league wasn't this good overall. Still had some powers. Defenses are the biggest improvements I have seen in the league. Speed and talent everywhere on that side of the ball.

Screen maybe. Wondering why you suggest the power I. That doesn't make sense. The more you put in the box, the more they are going to put in the box. You are still going to have to win the same battles that we already weren't winning. Things like this make me question your No. 4. Never did I feel we could beat the in smash mouth football. Maybe you thought we could?

Confused as to where I ever said I was satisfied with the Outback Bowl every year? After a 6-7 season, yes I will take 10 wins. Especially after an 0-2 start.
