where our only running play is the delay draw where our RB's take the ball
flat-footed and we don't have a lead blocking FB on the field.

As I said early in this thread I was there at the game, and couldn't understand why there wasn't any calls for AM to do a rollout to pass the ball with 2 or 3 receivers he could throw to during the game. I was thinking if they get AM out of that pocket maybe Georgia can move the ball more on the ground if we mixed up more plays.

BS, I only remember RS getting a handoff from the shotgun once. I do remember pressure getting to AM in the first half, however, I dont remember it happening as frequently in the second half.

I actually only remember hearing Gruden say that on a running play. Every team I have seen has struggled with that D Line. Adjustments can be made, but sometimes you are just stuck. It happens. You can't make players better than the ones lining up across them. The other DT was the all american. You double one or the other. Tough pickens. You just have to take advantage of the chances you get.

Maybe I am the only one that sees that, so maybe I am seeing it wrong. I really hope we find this offensive coach all are hoping for. I will also bet, Bobo will end up being decent somewhere. Wouldn't be surprised to see him join up with Smart or Muschamp after we fire him.

TD....I was there too and agree. AM actually did roll out a few times (planned rollouts) and was successful......did it on the 2 point conversion. When he rolls out, he's accurate and has that option to run. Thought that should have been the call at 3rd down when we had the ball with less than 2 1/2 minutes to go.....AM roll out, short pass/run, first down, game over (I understand the logic of depleting MSU's TO's as well), but a 1st down there, game is over.....GO FOR THE WIN.

Giving their DL credit is one thing, but geeeeez, you sound like you have a poster of them in your room. This wasn't the 85 Bears for goodness sakes.


Stop me if i'm wrong but didn't we start 3 seniors on the OL against them?? Don't care if they were 3 star, 4 star,or 10 star. Seniors in the SEC are crap.

What did they do against us in the First half? Nothing. What did they do against us in the second half, they kept pounding the rock until we broke. It worked. What does bama do? What does every successful team in the conference do? They stick to running the football.

Didn't say we didn't run it more than once, said RS ran it out of the gun once. I saw us try just about every running play we had. And just to let you know, when D-L's are pushing as hard as theirs were, delayed hand offs are about your only chance. Have to hope they over run the play. There is years of logic behind it. This isnt a math bowl.

I was the only one who said anything about their D-Line. No one other person was willing to give them any credit. They deserve some. Sorry for calling them very talented. Your right. What do all those experts calling them unbelivable know. Nothing compared to a math teacher.
