Bulldogs, you are assuming I was calling math teachers dumb. That I wasn't. Most math teachers are smarter than myself. Have NO problem accepting that. I would not challenge any of them to a math bowl. Already explained the other comment about the dumb part. I am still wondering how people are taking that I am calling someone dumb from that. Oh well though.

I know my place. Just cause I understand the concept of math doesn't make a teacher. Understanding the concepts of football does not make it that easy.

I was actually a defensive coach. Every DC game plans for boots and option. Don't spend a lot of time doing it, but you go over responsibilites every week.

It ain't rocket science.
My biggest gripe is lack of depth up front and a power running game.
Grantham's defense has gotten really good but we still can't play 3 deep, YET.
Same for the offense, Would have I liked to see a little trickery, probably.
I thought the first OT play calling was poor.
But my biggest gripe with the coaches is the lack of recruiting emphasis where it matters.
Grantham is well on the way, hopefully on the offense too.
Winning in the SEC is simple in concept, great defense for 2 halves, great special teams and kicking game.
The offenses usually aren't too complex, don't have to be.
LSU and Alabama's offenses aren't that complicated.
Their defenses are special.
Recruit 'em up, coach 'em up.

BulldogShannon, don't know if you have looked at the film on Avery Young on this site or not, or maybe you have checked him out on youtube. I believe this, if Avery Young commits to UGA, he will be the starting left tackle before the 2012 season ends. Think that Theus will be the right tackle at some point. DeBell I know something about. Mean as a snake, seldom gets beat on the same move, understand that he is getting bigger. How could he not, working with Coach JTII.

I hope that we have learned a lesson the last couple of years, and it has been proven to us more than once. As averagedawg said, build that depth. Running backs don't run without big'uns making holes. I am a believer in that. Glad you are back.
