Bulldawgs, no one is saying CMR doesn't make mistakes. Just funny those are the only ones ever noticed. Glad you asked the questio. To me the players are just as responsible as the coaches. Did you play football? If so, did you make mistakes you were coached not to? If you did make that mistake, did you not feel responsible for letting the team down, or did you just say well coach you shouldn't have given me a chance cause look what has happened. I failed and its your fault not mine.
Yes I played varsity football, varsity wrestling, ran varsity track and varsity cross country.Couple of differences, my coaches were not paid millions, more like a $750 stipend, my coaches didn't recruit anybody, lol, they were stuck with whomever lived in their district.
That being said. they were responsible for putting the eleven best football players,12 best wrestlers or 7 best runners on the field. They didn't hesitate to make changes when we made mistakes or a certain scheme didn't work. They coached and taught us.
You are right not every mistake is Richt's fault. His fault is nothing is ever changed from those mistakes. Don't say we don't know what he says or does behind closed doors. We know the result and it is that nothing changes.
The same mistakes, the same stupid play calls, stupid time management issues, same depth issues, same character issues, etc.
