Play execution, Play calling, depth (or lack of), or any of the NUMEROUS problems.
None of it is Richt's responsiblility. Hey I want a job like that- not accountable for anything or anybody under me.
Well, I want the job where my boss (head coach) doesn't give me a job description and ask me to perform that job. I want the one where my boss (head coach) not only schemes my day for me, but actually sits in my office and does the work. Apparently that's what everyone else expects from CMR.
GOOD GOD PEOPLE...GAMES ARE PLAYED ON THE FIELD, NOT ON THE WHITEBOARDS IN THE MEETING ROOMS. I'm not saying Richt isn't to blame for some things...he is. But EVERY coach in football, from pop warner up to the NFL makes questionable calls from time to time...it's part of what makes them like us, human. Most of what I've read in the last three days infers that he is some kind of omnipotent being that can completely control every aspect of a game just by calling, or not calling, certain plays.
