Thriller, I will tip my hat to Bobo. I think he has done his best job by far this year. Now, he might have not been the one calling the plays, but he is the OC, so I am going to give him a little credit. I think as much as the defense helped the offense at the beginning of the year, the offense has helped the defense at the end. Putting up points against aub, and gt early and building a nice lead, made both of those teams abort what they do well. The defense has been unbelievable.
Tip of the hat to all the coaches. All just as equal. Imagine trying to keep a team together when all the players hear after the first 2 games is that your HC should be fired. He never made it about him, and I respect CMR much for that. Willing to bet those fella's in the locker room do to.
As far as McGarity, he deserves a tip of the cap too. Yes, he has allowed CMR to get back to coaching, and he helped eliminate the off the field woes. But, I don't believe Mac was hired until 2010. CMR fired WM is 2009, so I don't think Mac forced him to do anything. I am also thinking CTG was hired before Mac ever got to Athens as well. Memory is not very good so I am probably wrong, but that is what I am thinking.
As for CMR hiring of CTG, I think everyone is looking at it wrong. At that time, I am quite confident CTG would not have been anyone's first choice. I am pretty sure we can all pretty much agree everyone wanted Kirby. I did. Don't think I ever heard CTG's name mentioned until it was released by the media as a possible canidate. I think CMR should deserve a little credit because no many people had heard of CTG before he came.
Regardless, good job to the entire staff.

It was pretty obvious though that CMR was pressured into making that move, and didn't want to
do it.
I'm not discounting anything else you said at all, but I just wanted to point out that detail.
I'm pretty sure everyone at this site knows McGarity wasn't here when that all went down.
