That thought had not passed through this old fart's brain ogredawg. Bama dropping off of the schedule definitely makes it easier for us. Will say this . . . . would like to play Alabama next season on the road for comparisons sake. Good catch ogredawg.
DAWG1277, listened to SS at his presser the other day. He is hooting and hollering about beating UT, UF, UGA and Clemson back to back. Think about it, quite an accomplishment, considering the school he is coaching at and USC's previous years playing American Football. He has got a good defensive team returning, and he really likes the quarterback that hails from the State of Georgia. SS wants to win the SEC before he retires, not sure he would retire then. Maybe the Red and Black will finish the drill in Columbia next season.

DawgnLA my only thought on Meyer pulling talent out of Florida is that it definitely strengthens Ohio State. If they come up with a good record in the Big Whatever, which they will, the media will keep them above us in the ratings, regardless of record. Seen that too many times in my life. When the media up that way get involved, all others are forgotten.
Just heard that Mike Leach was hired at Washington State. I know this, Kiffin will at some point have competition. Personally don't agree with all things Mike Leach, do know this, he understands the game and will not take any BS, such as what is happening at Tennessee.

One reason I still can't stand Keyshawn(although he's funny) or consider him a credible analyst is the action that played out on the sidelines in Tampa with Gruden. Loved the fact Gruden benched him and went on to win a superbowl

southernlover, I went through all of that Gruden/Meshawn crap. Brother you want to talk about two enormous egos, the two of them cannot be topped. Both stood their ground throughout that fight. Team did not matter truthfully, it came down to them and their feelings. Also, Meshawn was a part of the Superbowl win in San Diego. The two of them actually hugged after that game. The ugly was yet to come.

Buc, Hear what you are saying about UM at OSU and the pundits drooling all over them. Bottom line is whoever in the SEC wins out or carries one loss and is SEC Champion holds just as much clout as a Buckeye team playing their inferior schedule in the big "whatever".
