Tip of the cap to CMR

DawgnLA had read some of the same "stuff" in another place. If this young "punk" . . . don't have a better way to describe him, was introduced to a good butt kicking, more if it takes that, he would come off of his high horse. Surprised that someone on the team has not "taken him out back for a little one on one discussion". If team mates are going to allow this, Dooley is fighting a lost cause. As you mentioned, we have been through some of this and it was time for some folks to hit the road. Our arrest records at UGA were making us the laughing stock of college football. I never want to lose to Tennessee, do hope they can stop this. Not good for the game.

UT can recover (not that I care). They've got the facilities and the money in the
program (to pay for some player talent)to eventually find someone that can get them out of this. I actually feel a little bad for Dooley personally (not really, because I don't recognize the name Dooley when it's wearing convict orange), because I don't think he knew the mess he was stepping into when he took the job (HAHAHA). Eventually though.. UT will come back (I hope they don't).

AllDawgs5, good post. You were missed.

The upcoming game in Atlanta and . . . . next season are going to give us a much better picture of where we are at. After the winning formula was put together this year, next year more will be expected, regardless of schedule. Building that depth in the O and D lines is going to change the future for UGA. We will probably get to see depth at its best Saturday in Atlanta. :)

Might be that Florida and Tennessee are in the same boat.

Lots of talent in Florida, lots of disgruntled fans, not many willing to accept Muschamp. For those that are not aware, Florida's arrest record and cover ups exceeded what happened at UGA. Meyer tried to say that in his presser, he however could not get the words to come out.

Meyer and Kiffin both left their previous programs in a complete mess, did what is natural for their types. Took the money and ran. Kiffin will do well in California. Will be interesting to see how well Meyer does in Florida recruiting. Sooner or later, it usually comes down to playing time or the promise of playing time that swings many young folks. All part of growing up.

From where I sit, think that Dooley jumped at a situation maybe a bit too quickly, as mentioned above in this thread. One of his main trouble makers was a Kiffin recruit best I recall. A bit like losing money in the stock market or wherever, at some point you have to CUT YOUR LOSSES.

Meyer can steal all the recruits from Florida he wants. Keeps them from lining up in the SEC.

Shake ups in coaching recently at UT, UF, Ole Miss, and possibly UK, MSST and even maybe TXAM in the future really set SEC schools back. Stability could be our foundation for success and recruiting going forward.

Buc, if this UGA team can play like we know they can with all the talent next year it will surely paint a better picture of where they are at. SC, AL and AU all on the road next year. Pundits will not be able to say we played a soft schedule if we are in the same or better position this time next season.
