I agree, playing time is earned, & Boo has apparently not earned it yet.

Unfortunately, I too agree w/you...I have ZERO confidence in our offensive coaching staff & their personnel decisions.

To clarify my post from yesterday, I'm not really saying that the coaches are morons for NOT playing Boo. Again, he obviously hasn't done enough in their minds to deserve PT. However, I do think Richard Samuel has been placed at the wrong position & I don't think Boo can be any worse of a RB than Samuel b/c as everybody here seems to agree, RS just ain't a good runner.

On that note, has anybody besides me been VERY impressed with the play of our ILB's since the injury bug bit Tree & Robinson? I think M. Gilliard & A. Herrera (sp?) have both played lights out. In fact, my roommate argues that C. Robinson should be moved to OLB or on the 2nd string at ILB after watching all the plays that Gilliard & Herrera have made! Herrera is a true fresman & just flys to the ball carrier. Gilliard is a Jr. & I love his size & tackling. He's a lock to start at ILB w/Tree next season IMO. I think moving one of the 3 (CR, MG, or AH) outside makes a lot of sense even though Williams has done admirable playing OLB instead of his natural Safety position.

What have yall thought of our Linebackers?

I think the replacements have come in and played well. I'm proud of almost everything that is
happening on that side of the line of scrimmage.

I have thought that the D has not missed a beat, but has the competition helped us? Not sure yet, but they Linebacker play has been lights out.

Has anyone heard who is replacing Washington this week? Is RD getting his shot?

I read somewhere that Chase Vasser will get the nod over Ray Drew at OLB due to his superior pass coverage skills against the Vols aerial attack. Heck, we might see a few new faces at LB on Sat....Faloughi or Wilson or Stripling? I'm always anxious to see what the young pups can do.

Last three years (my stomach couldn't take any more)

2009 - Teams we beat combined record 44-43

2010 - Teams we beat combined record 23-40

2011 - teams we beat combined record 52-62

Last three years our 22 FBS Wins have come against teams with a FBS won loss record of 119-145.

Again I ask, Improvement Really ?

PS: I have made every effort to remove games involving FCS schools from the records.

We got lucky with an easy schedule and after seeing Mississippi State and Aburn in the bowl games I am not sure we win if those games were replayed today.

But you know what, we will be having this same discussion next year because this UGA and Mark Richt is a good Christian man.
