I could care less what the so called experts say.
This a wonderful tool the coaches can use to make them eat their words.
Not that they will.

averagedawg, these guys making predictions along with Muschamp and his guarantee to UF fans, more than enough for UGA players to dig deep and make this season memorable. Thinking maybe the coaches might not have to say too much . . . . just leave things lying around as reminders as to why UGA will put a stop to the chatter . . . . ;)

born2bAdawg, really like what Ray Drew had to say in a recent interview. Goes something like this. . . . .

Drew was asked about Cornelius Washington's comments about incoming freshmen, and not giving up anything as far as playing time. First off, I have been a CW supporter from day 1, appreciate the fact that he is not giving anyone his space.

Ray Drew said:
Just coming in and improving myself and letting the coaches know just because I’m a freshman doesn’t mean I’m going to come in and sit back. Every football player, if you ask them, they’d rather be on the football field than on the sideline any day. That’s really what I want to go in and do.

Drew had something else on his mind.

He had read comments from outside linebacker Cornelius Washington about not letting a rookie come in to take his job.

“I want to at least push him for it a little bit,” Drew said. “Let him work for it.”

This is the kind of attitude that it will take to get our team back on the tracks. Maybe there is something to this "Dream Team" thingy . . .

If other incoming freshmen have the same attitude . . . . Good for the upperclassmen and for the young pups. Good for UGA and its supporters. Of which there are thousands.

Coach JTII will separate the winnow from the wheat. QUICKLY.

I read that article shortly after posting on the thread Buc. I think if you constantly have freshmen coming in ready and eager to play it will benefit the team in a way that coaching cannot. Everyone here has played a sport and if you have tremendous compassion for that sport you will want to be top dawg no matter who is competing. Once a "pup" comes around with that attitude it will spread amongst everyone...our team is a perfect example of this. This labeled "dream team" will bring us up as a team for more then just this year I believe.

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN

the so called "experts" have never liked UGA......even in the NC run years of late 70's early 80's it was all about Notre Dame and Pitt....now it is all about Ohio State(snicker) and how great Oklahoma is......I don't pay much attention to them....
