Of course the number of Richt haters have grown. He is not on a hot streak by any means. The more you start losing, the less likely a fan base is going to stand behind you.

Guessing the comments in the first 4 paragraphs are directed toward me. Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. Still waiting on the abundant list of OL Searels produced at LSU. Have seen anything to make me think otherwise.

I have been saying for awhile that Richt is losing my vote. Even if I believed he should be fired immediately, I think they all should. They all work together to get the job done, and they are not. ALL OF THEM. They have all done their share.

Like the numbers you bring up. Would be interesting to see what takes place if we beat all them. Truly believe though, if we beat them, we will be better than 8-4. I think 8-4 he is gone. If he beats all of them, he would not excuse for the other losses.

And you don't make me mad. You are free to doubt my credentials all you want. Never met you, but I still like ya. Calling me out is fine. However, I would prefer to never be pissed on.

Would not take that chance AD5, old folks like me need body guards.

I do think that you are as stubborn as a mule. That is a good thing. If I need help I call kentdaddy and Limey. Welcome again to this board, be careful with what you post, be honest to yourself and respect others that are here before you.

I too have had my balls busted. Knowing your ego, you think that has not happened to you yet . . . . it has, respectfully! :)

Here are the players coached by Searels:

Rudy Niswan
Stephen Peterson
Andrew Whitworth
Rodney Reed. No longer active
and there was one more that is still active.

Here are active UGA linemen still playing that came through UGA while Richt was there:

Chester Adams
Max Jean
Jon Stich
Fernando
Dennis Roland

Dont care what round. Still being active is the key for me. Hell, Ryan Leaf was a 1st rounder.

Thanks for playing

Buc, I have been wrong. Many times. Been humbled by somethings on this board. Even admitted it in the past. However, this whole Richt is the sole reason behind all our problems, is not a theory I buy into. Maybe that is not what anyone is meaning. I apologize for taking that impression. Every week we have a Richt bashing so I figured that's what it was.

If I have been disrespectful, I apologize. I simply posted my thoughts, got called out, and then asked for some type of factual input. I even admitted to being wrong about Sullivan.

I will take up for what I believe. Doesn't mean I am right. Doesn't mean anyone else is either.

I like Kentdaddy and Limey too. I do believe however, if we had a coach that was lunatic that wore his emotions on his sleeve, and was always looking for a fight, that would be Kentdaddy's man.

Will admit stubborness is a major flaw of mine.

Go DAWGS

Well its official.

AJC "Texas has completed its deal with Stacy Searels and plans an announcement later Thursday afternoon of his hire as offensive line coach."

Let the name game begin. Who is our next OL coach?

Buc, I try to be reasonable although at times my emotions for the DAWGS get the best of me. I have been reading this board for many years. My post are infrequent, mostly because my opinion gets expressed. This is a really good board to follow with yourself, and many others contributing. I just hope reason can be found by our AD in the coming year(s).

The natural speculation has centered on a couple of former Georgia players with established credentials as offensive line coaches: Mac McWhorter and Hugh Nall.

McWhorter, ironically, is responsible for the opening at Texas, having just retired as the Longhorns’ OL coach amid a general staff house-cleaning that Brown has undertaken following a disappointing season just a year after playing in the national championship game. But since McWhorter’s “retirement” is only a little over a month old, he might be inclined to basically swap places with Searels.

If that’s the case, you could argue UGA would be getting the better end of the deal. While McWhorter was at UT, the offense ranked among the top 10 in total offense three times and in the top 30 seven times. It was also in the top six in scoring offense on five occasions and in the top 16 eight times. McWhorter also was named the 2008 Assistant Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association.

If he were to take the job at Georgia, it would be his second go-round as the Dogs’ OL coach. He held that position, along with special teams coordinator and director of football operations, under Ray Goff. Interestingly, he also put in time at Georgia Tech under George O’Leary and ended up as the Jackets’ acting head coach for their bowl game after O’Leary left for his short-lived stint at Notre Dame.

As for Nall, he had a good run coaching the OL at Auburn under Tommy Tuberville but left coaching for an executive position in the trucking business after Tuberville was fired and reportedly is quite happy out of football. Giving up that gig for a potentially one-season stint in Athens might not seem like such a smart move.

Other names not associated with UGA are starting to surface, including former Vanderbilt head coach Robbie Caldwell, a veteran of offensive line work.

I am glad he is gone and I bet secretely Aaron Murray is too...lol. Probably will add a couple years to his life after the beating he took this year.

Good coach or bad coach, for some reason most facets of the team have underperformed the last 2+ years. Lack of talent, lack of coaching, lack of strength and conditioning, take your pick, CMR is responsible for all of it. HE NEEDS TO FIX IT !

This post I made a couple weeks ago still makes me wonder what team CMR watched this season.

This one line from the news conference has me worried more than anything.

"Richt said offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and offensive line coach Stacy Searels “have done a great job, not a good job, but a great job.”

Forget Bobo for a minute, his inadequacies have been well documented, but if he thinks that the offensive line coaching this year was great he either needs a dictionary or glasses.

Same ole sunshine pumping

Some are wise and some are otherwise !
