sadlerdawg, I know you can't completely protect anybody on the field but AM's playing personality is very aggressive and if you turn him loose too much he's liable to make a stupid aggressive decision running the ball that will cost him the season. It's his nature to take chances and that would worry me as a coach seeing him tucking the ball and running it too much. He's a very good runner but............we need IC for that.

wasn't it Buc or Wlayton who suggested the west coast offense for AM? I think that would be perfect-qucik 3 step drops to slow down the hits taken, since no AJ, use a system where you are asking guys to take a 5 yard slant and make it a 12 yard gain--much easier done than basically relying on one guy to go 20 yards down the field and do a jump ball for it.

Throw in the TE and IC, we don't need an AJ.

AM reminds me of a right handed Steve Young. BOBO, STOP with the 7 step drop on 3rd and 10 AFTER doing a play action that no one falls for. The plays take too long to develop.
