With National Signing Day less than two months away Georgia is turning up the heat on recruiting and last Thursday the Georgia coaches were in Perkinston, Mississippi to visit talented JUCO star Johnathan Jenkins out of Gulf Coast Community College. While there the coaches made it clear to the big defensive lineman that he is needed in Athens

RabunDog, really like the hustle I see from JJ. Moving up and down the D line like he enjoys hitting folks. Maybe JJ will be CTG's Christmas present. Fingers crossed. Move this years nose out to end, could be a really good 3/4. Think that KG will surprise next season also.

Thanks Rabun. Kid looks to be a great player. Kind of player that can make a 3-4 a great Defense.

As far as IC, I have seen this kid's highlights for quite some time. Incredible. Wish Carver would have won the state championship so we could have find out his decision this weekend.

I am happy to see this staff going the extra mile recruiting. Can't remember hearing this much in the past about their effort and sense of urgency. Believe Richt and Staff are figuring it out more and more. Hopefully, he remembers you can recruit like this year after year. :lol:

Going to very interesting. This is the start of Richt maintaining his job in my eyes. He better make some noise, and get some quality kids. He also better get the right kids. Kids that can add value immediately.

Good post AD5. We really need for our recruiting force to make a huge move right now. We will now get to see what CTG has in his tank on the trail. He is selling the 3/4 and variations of that, this is definitely going to get interesting. We have some strong SEC tested folks coming back, little addition here and there can make a difference. Ask Auuburrn.
