wasn't it Buc or Wlayton who suggested the west coast offense for AM? I think that would be perfect-qucik 3 step drops to slow down the hits taken, since no AJ, use a system where you are asking guys to take a 5 yard slant and make it a 12 yard gain--much easier done than basically relying on one guy to go 20 yards down the field and do a jump ball for it.

Throw in the TE and IC, we don't need an AJ.

AM reminds me of a right handed Steve Young. BOBO, STOP with the 7 step drop on 3rd and 10 AFTER doing a play action that no one falls for. The plays take too long to develop.

BulldogShannon, didn't take longer than reading that one line to totally fall in agreement with that statement. Had not thought about that comparison before, Brother that is an exellent comparison.

For the most part, think it has been sadlerdawg pointing in the direction that you mention above. Totally agree, we have the personnel to score a tremendous amount of points.

Anything past about 3 steps and I don't care who you are or what team you play for, injury is just around the corner. Defensive Coordinators coming into the SEC with that get after QB's butt mentality and looking for that type athlete. Fairley killed everyone that tried to block him, too physically good and quick. And we did see what a mean streak can do when they reach that pocket passer. If I know where you are going to be, sooner or later I will get you.

Good stuff BulldogShannon.

Thanks Buc. Let's hope with all that extra time CMR now says he has to get caught up on current trends, he will see that trend.

I hope he does. Know that I have mentioned he is stubborn to a fault. The more I think about that statement, not sure that is the problem. Truthfully, he is having a problem focusing on anything.

After reading and re-reading what McGarity had to say about Richt having too many things to think about, came to the conclusion he is not capable of doing more than one thing at a time. That is not to berate the man, many are like that.

As an offensive coordinator at FSU, Richt was GREAT.

As the head coach at UGA, he has not reached GREATNESS. Again it is not how many games he has won, that kind of thing falls in line with how good the competition was when figuring the wins and losses.

One question for the folks that post here . . . . .

How long does Richt have to get caught up on current trends as BulldogShannon posted? Let's call that winning football games, right. . .

I am not personally known as a liberal, will use my best attempt at being a liberal.

Beat Boise State, South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Ole Miss, Miss State, Tennessee, Vandy, Florida, New Mexico State, Auburn, Kentucky, GTech, Win SEC Championship.
