BIG weekend in ATHENS this weekend
We are headed down the stretch with just over two weeks before National Signing Day
Here are some of the topics touched on today in this edition of the Insider Report:
- Isaiah Crowell and Quintavious Harrow are not the only prospects out of Carver-Columbus that plan to visit Georgia this weekend.
- What is the latest on John Jenkins? He is a top target for UGA in this class and he visited Miami, his childhood favorite over the weekend. It turns out, he spent quite a bit of time with UGA coaches later this week.
- Could Georgia pick up four commitments this week? Three prospects are set to announce and another once could make his declaration as well.
- Looking ahead... Georgia has had some success in New Jersey before with guys like Kade Weston and Knowshon Moreno, so who could they be targeting in 2012 out of the Garden State?
- Everyone knows how important the middle man is in Georgia's 3-4 defense and they now have their eye on a mammoth of a DL in 2012

Rabun, any gut feeling on which school Drew is going to pick? Sounds like if Drew picks us, Jenkins will too.

Well if Jenkins says he knows where Drew is going......guess that takes Clemson off Drew's list. If he hasn't visited Clemson yet, you wouldn't think he would commit to them without the visit first.
I'm a little worried about them going to UM.....South Beach is pretty alluring to a young man. Guess it all depends if they want to play ball or have a ball.

Ward's coach had advised him to wait - may have been a mistake - guess we have all the OL spots filled - still would have liked to have gotten him - think he will be a good player
Georgia Tech, which is now up to 21 commitments, is apparently also making a late push for four-star offensive lineman Xzavier Ward. Tech coaches made an in-home visit with the 6-foot-7, 260-pound offensive tackle from Colquitt County on Monday, according to JacketsOnline.com. Dan Mullen and other Mississippi State coaches were also in to see Ward.
He might be a long shot for both teams. Speculation is that Ward may commit to Auburn while on an official visit on The Plains this weekend. But Ward’s recruitment has been somewhat of a mystery all along. He was supposed to take official visits to Florida and Alabama, respectively, the last two weekends but had the trips canceled by the schools because they had no more room for tackles, according to AuburnSports.com.
The No. 9-ranked Ward is one of only six players on the AJC Fab 50 list currently uncommitted.
