I'll stick up for Coach Richt

Interesting tid bit on the internet. Lots going on in Athens.

Looks like a few shake-ups are in store for UGA’s offensive line this week, going by who was working today with the first-string. The big mover appears to be true freshman Kenarious Gates at right guard, knocking right tackle Josh Davis out of the starting five. Gates lined up with: Trinton Sturdivant (LT), Cordy Glenn (LG), Ben Jones (C) and Clint Boling, who was at right tackle. The second-string line was: A.J. Harmon (LT), Dallas Lee (LG), Chris Davis (C), Tanner Strickland (RG) and Davis at right tackle.

Yup,

More than fine tuning going on Buc, me thinks all coaches have looked up and saw the hammer over their head. Change nothing and be surprised that the results are the same ? now that is insanity 101 !

Buc, can't believe I'm saying this (actually agreeing with my source).......maybe Searles needs to be looked at as well. Total underperformance.....no excuses.....plenty of bodies.

yankeedawg1, that has been the pro and con of this thread. Amazes me that some are willing to stay with the cause, when the cause is getting more and more out of touch . . . not only with the players on the field, now we see the coaches begin to shift in their pews.

The program breaker comes when the available players in our state keep moving across our borders. Thought that was the big push this past offseason, keeping our folks home.

Beginning to look a lot like the border along Mexico and Arizona, full of holes. People of Arizona can't get any help, seems to be the same with UGA backers, lack of filling the holes for what . . . five or more years.

Huge game on Saturday. Have said that about every game except the first one. UT is coming to play for their Dooley's. Wonder if our folks are going to come to play for Richt and his staff? Find out soon enough.

wlayton, cannot believe that our Oline has not done a lot more. Coach Searels was/is a proven commodity, worked miracles with nothing in the past. Personally, think that the wheels have fallen off of the entire coaching staff. Why . . . no leadership. Or as IC said earlier, lack of discipline. wlayton, this is not good.

We have not run the ball any where close to the way we did the last two games of this past season.

Same backs and line, we can't block and damn sure can't hold on to the ball. This all can't be because AJ was out, can it ? stacking the box yada yada.... it seem we just are not coming off the ball and backs are not up in the hole with any kind of fire.

We did not change after our loss to SC and with MSU and CU were we had way better players we just did not show up. It never schould of come down to a single fumble costing both of those games. Out played, coaching yes but our players know better and lack of effort costs us on both side of the ball.
