Todd Monken new offensive coach hire for UGA?

I just read that DAWGS247 is confirming Monken's hire by UGA, but no info on what his role will be.

Like the fact that there are many coaches more than willing to hitch up with UGA. Appears that Coach Smart is willing to remove all of the stop signs and forge ahead offensively.

EDIT: I follow Tampa along with Atlanta in the NFL. I can say this about Todd Monken, Georgia will definitely bring the tight ends into play . . . . regularly.

Don't mean this to be ugly, however it appears to me that Kirby's time as a head coach has rearranged some of his offensive thoughts. Takes time in many cases to get a firm grip on the task at hand. Todd Monken would not have been hired if he was not given a free hand. Well known around the NFL and college ranks that Monken will throw and throw often.

I'm still in agreement with wart, I'll believe it when I see it, but it does appear that Kirby has gotten the message that the offense needs minds other than his to run more efficiently (not meant to be ugly, as Buc would say)
