Jacob Eason . . . That hire was FOR YOU

I'm very glad he's coming to Athens. Really like what he said about UGA for his final decision and certainly don't blame him for being a little concerned when Mark was let go.

Also don't feel he was over the top in any way making his announcement......most recruits wait until NSD with all the hoopla. Would imagine many of the HS's WANT the recognition and attention to make the school look good as well.

If Kirby hired the right OC, I believe this kid will light it up.

Regardless.....EVERY school in the country wanted him.

Kirby Smart head coach, understands what is needed along the offensive front. Coaching defense under Nick Saban, but that did not close his mind on what is needed to help the defensive side do its job.

Hope that this helps make up Willie Allen's mind to play for Georgia. If so, I believe that we have the left tackle we have needed for a long time.

Really liked what I saw from Isaiah Wynn when he replaced John Theus at left tackle. Willie Allen comes on board, that is what so many on Dawgs.com have talked about for several years . . . . DEPTH.

My opinion . . . . Believe the 2016 offensive line will be better than the 2015 line. Experience at the center position and more than one really good offensive linemen that have been waiting for more playing time. One name that comes to mind is Dyshon Sims. Actually Rob Sale played a lot of his offensive linemen, liked that a lot.

Another thought.

New offensive coordinator, offensive line coach.

Some questions as to whether or not Jacob Eason will start as a Freshman.

New coaches on the offensive side, all playing the quarterback position will start with a different playbook in 2016. Does not really give any of the quarterbacks a jump start over one another.

This could get interesting.

See what develops on the wide receiver position.

I can't imagine a world where Eason comes in and doesn't start. I know that's not S.O.P. for most SEC programs, ours included, but our QB play was so embarrassingly abysmal this season that I think Eason is all but guaranteed to start day 1, practice 1.

Granted, if Ramsey had better protection and Schotty would have pulled his head out of his abyss and called plays actually suited for Ramsey, things might have been different. But even with some protection, Ramsey still made some completely idiotic decisions.

Yes sir. This, this, and more this.

I do believe will will have a true qb competition this year and if it's close give Eason the job. We have a experienced OC that should be able to design a game plan that would give him the best chance to succeed.
