Look, Jacob . . .

You are not going to get protection better at another school than what Kirby Smart is already starting to build at UGA.

We will have the skill positions - some are already here - did you see what Godwin did this year? He's only getting better.

Oh - and Nick Chubb and Sony Michel will be in the backfield with you . . . don't know if you forgot that or not . . . it's worth mentioning. ;)

What are you looking for? Some sort of gimmick . . . Texas Tech, maybe? Puh-LEASE.

You now have no excuses left. Here is what you have in front of you:

UGA has no QB.

UGA has RBs who can block for you, catch for you, run the ball to take the heat off of you.

UGA has (and is getting more) WRs who can catch whatever you get close to them . . . and I'm not even going into the TEs.

UGA has a head coach who is also the best DC in the nation . . . meaning you will get the ball in your hands MORE OFTEN . . . more plays = more opportunities. ;)

And NOW . . . UGA will have HOSSES in front of you who will be your PERSONAL BODY GUARDS . . . BIG hosses . . . MOBILE hosses . . . PASS protecting, hole blowing HOSSES . . . it's already STARTED. B)

The OC is in place . . . the pieces are coming together . . . this is SERIOUS, young man.

Batter up . . . step up to the plate. :woohoo:

Personally find it interesting that both Eason and Richt are in Athens.

They don't have to be friends or enemies, but the Richt trip to Washington did not change the minds above him that had their minds and billfolds looking for a change.

I would think that the gators group trying to land Eason has some merit. Jim Elwain has a different work ethic than Mark Richt. Proven in 2015. I certainly hope that we don't hear that those in charge in Athens want to have a statue of Richt on campus. Have made it clear what I thought of VD, don't agree with his statue being on campus either.

Say it again . . . . Georgia Football is now officially out from under any VD hiring in Athens. He hung around much too long. Did not take VD and Barbara long to change their allegiance to Tennessee from Georgia. Time now for Mark Richt to move on, and say again that he is glad to be "home" in Miami. Boca Raton and Miami are two different worlds.

Bet this thriller, there are a lot of fine young quarterbacks that know the structure of Georgia Bulldog Football changed with the hiring of Kirby Smart. As Kirby Smart said . . . . his hands and mind will be all over every part of the Red and Black.

Truthfully, a bit surprised that Kirby Smart came in at a lower salary than Mark Richt had. Tells me that Kirby is coming to build a winner. Also tells me that Greg McGarity still has the "numbers" to the vault. That will change soon, just as Nick Saban's did in Tuscaloosa.

thriller, all any potential player has to do is read what you said above on existing talent. That is not dreaming, the talent you mention is bedded down on campus for the most part.

Say this, it will not be the winning or losing of one player that will stop what Kirby Smart and his group of assistants are setting out to do. Kirby mentioned "depth", can remember when the only site that was concerned with that was Dawgs.com. and its members.

Kirby Smart is one intelligent coach.
He has already shown more strategic thinking in one week than Richt did in fifteen years.
Kirby has come to Georgia to win championships.
Get out of the way if you are not committed to that fact.

Monster hire. WOW.

What I like about this is that no one saw this coming.

Jacob has to be tickled pink over this hire, but if he isn't, wait a season and see how many QB recruits lining up are going to be tickled pink over Chaney and the UGA offense. At this point, Eason would be a total idiot to go anywhere else then UGA.

Chaney gave Bama fits in 2014, and that had to stick in CKS's mind. Not to mention a track record of building ridiculous offenses.

averagedawg, couldn't agree more. Kirby is bringing the puzzle pieces together in an organic manner to build national championship caliber teams. I must say, I am very impressed with this hire. Incredibly impressed.

Meant to also add that Sam Pittman is a walking twin of Todd Grantham. I'll have to remind myself I'm not staring at Grantham on the sidelines next season.

JE. Time ticking down on your decision..

Somewhere there is a QB watching to see what you do

If you blink he will take your spot quicker than you think

Inside the fence or not....tick tick.....

Go Dawgs!
