Had posted here, but no need for two of the same. Good start in the BOOM thread.

Much has been said and I suspect much more will be chatted about with Kirby Smart at Georgia and Jeremy Pruitt at Alabama.
Really enjoyed reading the article below. Backs up the fact that players really like both coaches. Interesting looking at the names of players that Pruitt was involved with in recruiting. Derrick Henry for one. Long list.
About time that the "Blue Bloods" in Athens got off of their butts and did some constructive hiring.
If ever there was a recruiting war, for sure there will be one now. Appears to me that Gus Malzahn is not long for remaining as head coach in Auburn, Alabama. Same as our previous head coach, talk will only take you so far. Believe that Richt got more time in Georgia than Malzahn will get in Auburn.
Many good reads when we look elsewhere for professional journalism.

Another good read below.
There were some of the "talking heads" that really played up the Smart/Pruitt "stuff". "Stuff" meaning that the two could not exist on the same field, same team.
Beat writers and media talking heads.
Check out the article, gives a good running commentary on what actually went on between Smart and Pruitt.

Thanks again Defensive Coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. Can't say the same for those that you worked for. They did not understand, nor do they now. Greg McGarity has placed all of his marbles in the Kirby Smart basket . . . . first sensible move he has made as Athletic Director.

Maybe the idea of Scrooge placing his eggs in the
Kirby basket may not have been of his choosing....
Hmmmm,....he sure is the frontman on this adventure
Although he may have had the idea while driving to the
Local convenience store for a Yahoo!

That seemed a fairly good relationship, so if they
can work together I wonder why Pruitt had to
go.
