So would I..

Honestly... I think AM could coach the offense via a series tweets during the game better than Schottenheimer did, lol

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Wartdawg, another photo that I really like is the one that I think thriller posted.

Kirby Smart standing next to Ben Cleveland.

Kirby is going to change the way recruiting has been done for far too long in Athens. Kirby said immediately that he was going to build the offensive and defensive lines.

Another photo that I liked was Kirby Smart with Julian Rochester and his family.

To me that adds up to two large linemen, both offensive and defensive, and a quarterback.

My way of thinking, been too damn long for someone in the Classic City to understand what both "fronts" mean in SEC Football.

Alabama has "known this forever".

We had a head coach that believed in the "flash and dash". Always looking for a player or players that the beat writers and media twerps would cover. Clicks.

There are some messages being sent by Kirby Smart that we need to pay attention to this early in his hire. Great damn hire . . . . Kirby Smart, Head Coach University of Georgia Football. Red and Black.

Greg McGarity, give you a+ for this hire. Now, just get out of the way, listen to what Kirby Smart has to say, and you will loved by many. However, many outside of the "arena" will watch your every move. Bank that.

Go Dawgs, continue to recruit the "skilled players that put their hands in the dirt" . . . . Nick Chubb and others will be that much better. Finally we have a Head Coach that not only relates in living rooms, he said and I believe . . . . going to touch every aspect of the football team. Thank you Lord.

EDIT: This is the photo that I was referring to. thriller has it as his avatar . . . . thriller's stock just sky rocketed. thriller knows, think most here know.

Pruitt's departure is not a big surprise, but it's pretty disappointing. I could tell in CKS's intro presser that he was disinterested in retaining Pruitt when he made the statement, "it's important that I hire my guys."

I don't know who else CKS is going to pick up who is an upgrade from CJP.

The flip side of the coin was that I think CJP was gone after this season anyway, no matter what. It was clear that there was a clash of ideology between CMR and CJP. CJP did not buy in to CMR's style, philosophy, or program - which naturally would indicate why CJP has been labeled "independent." Call him what you want, but the results show we should call him what he is - a proper defensive coordinator. If you want to dress him up with fancy pseudo names like "independent", then go right ahead. I'm glad CJP was independent of CMR, otherwise this season would have been an unmitigated disaster. At least 5 wins of the 9-3 record this season are directly attributed to CJP's "independent" style.

This dawg is a little disappointed today. CJP seemed like a natural fit here with CKS. The fact that he's replacing CKS at Bama indicates that his defensive mind and game planning had nothing to do with the decision not to retain him.

See where "Pouty" is trying to "stir the pot" . . . . again. Last one that stepped out with "new information" on Jeremy Pruitt leaving Athens.

Many working for Cox scope out a lot of the different sites. Not saying "Pouty" did, but he sure as hell is "late" . . . . again.

As complete as can be said, from where I sit.

As to how the above relates to those that are still wet behind their ears, referring to themselves as "knowledgeable" UGA football fans, read the paragraph more than once, if at that point you are still hung up on the previous head coach, highly suggest that you are reading the wrong site, Dawgs.com.where . . . .

Football spoken here, by many.

I agree. However, as long as CKS was the one who made the decision, then I trust it. I sure hope this had nothing to do with any alleged "dysfunction" in the administration. If Kirby wants to bring in his own guy, or give someone a shot that he can train up on his own, I say go for it.

And best of luck to Pruitt, unless we see them in a SECCG - the odds of which I think have increased DRAMATICALLY.
